21 RT.

Had a HP 500 in it and ran a little over 80.

Now has one of Alexi's big NA setups in it. Still getting it dialed in on prop, drive height, and fuel mapping but she does slightly do better then 70.

I always regret not taking a loan out on this when it was up for sale. I just couldn't swing the cash at the time, and you know....toys!

just an amazing boat!

Thanks for the kind comment. Jeff is building boats again! The new one is going to be amazing. I'll post about it.

Do you miss it? Some cool Daytona's in this thread for sure! My wife has run ours up to 80 with a whole lot of pedal left. =)

Great pictures everyone!

I do miss it. My wife was afraid to ride in it. She has a bad back. Funny - a buddy of mine sent me this today... I file it under the just because you can does not mean you should dept. The guy that bought if from me ruined an awesome boat. What a bummer.

Holy shit! That's my old boat! I was wondering just the other day where she was and if someone was taking care of her!!
Haha, y’all kept great care of it. I bought it from a gentlemen in Austin who I believe had bought it from you all. I’ve had it in houston area for the last ~7 years and it’s definitely well cared for, garaged, etc. It now has a Jay Smith Racing Engines rebuilt power head and new sport master lower end… I love it.

Damn there's some beautiful boats in the thread.

Not often I post up pics that includes my dad, my old boss, his daughter, another old boss's boat and me in them.

The Advantage with the Cobra drive set the kilo around '88 if I remember correctly at 116-118MPH somewhere around there, single carb SBC. I don't think it was ever broken but I also think no one gives a shit about breaking the ETII class record. That scoop was given to me by another old boss and mentor, Roger Weiman, and is probably still sitting on the bottom of the river after we flipped the boat in turn one of the old parker enduro.

I miss that old scoop.

well,i BLEED 2 stroke Mercs, but they are becoming extinct..believe me when i say i am in denial..that V8 300R is only slightly heavier then 300XS and i would NEVER think of running that much wieght on a 19 daytona, but would consider on the 21..JMO

Love me some Mirage! Mine was a 93', and I think the split window came after. I am still not a fan of painting the engine cowls, but that is bad ass.
Mine is a 93 as well with a 260, has 55 hours on since new, real garage find I got in michigan. The split window was the ski racer or jaguar and without the split window was the river racer and was center steer. I believe that’s how it worked. Same bottom.

That boat you bought was very well taken care of.

Oh man.....listen, that is cool too, I just don't find it anywhere near the coolness of a 21 with twins. I get more questions about my little 21 than I did my 40' Skater.
