Let's see what you look like after the flight. Have fun and be safe.

Good business class airline. When I used to travel to Japan, India, China for work, I only flew 2 airlines. Cathay and Singapore! Would leave LAX or SFO around midnight and arrive late mornings and would be ready for the day.

I dislike long plane rides, but that actually looks bearable.

Any cute flight attendants? :)

I HATE flying.. But international first class seating is the bomb, they recline fully flat! I was disappointed in my last trip to Spain when they got to Barcelona an hour earlier than the scheduled flight. You can hit the ground running well rested from those seats....

I Highly recommend going to Krabi Town and/or Ao Nang when you're there.

https://www.tripadvisor.ca/Tourism-g1507054-Ao_Nang_Krabi_Town_Krabi_Province-Vacations.html

and if you're up for a little adventure - go to Chaing Mai or even better Chaing Rai in the north.

Phuket is a huge place and a great tourist spot..... but these places are far smaller and you can get a look at another world in these places.

Wherever you go - get ready to eat a ton of great food. I found the street food and one window take-aways to be the best. Just watch how they cook it, and only buy from those who are serving it on new paper plates/utensils. Also don't buy from anyone cooking and handling money by themselves.

My buddy married a thai gal . They went over a year ago , and he had a blast, she has family all over and knows where to go and not. He loves spicy stuff but said some of it lit him up big time. He can't wait to go back .

Mine did too. He went back to meet the parents and told horror stories about the electrical and the crazies driving. I never knew what a "ladyboy" was, but he filled us in on that as well.

Looks great. I'll be in phuket after Bali and Medan in July. As far as airlines, Singapore airlines flight attendants are like models😁.

We went in 2015. Fun place. That said I was happy when we got back to America.

The last day or two I was ready to go, my stomach was a little off the whole time, luckily my hotel was walking distance from the bars so I was making quick trips back there.

I cannot wait for July, this is nearby Lake Toba, Indonesia last year. Monkeys in the trees! Keep them coming.

Love Thailand.:thumbsup

We went on Danny Donohues recommendations and wise, accurate tips:
The food is good and cheap, I mean really cheap. Eat where locals and Ex Pat's are cueing up if you're out and about, rooms are cheap, drinks are cheap, transportation is cheap.

Avoid North of Bangkok in the burn season, never discuss any politics with anyone about anything, act like you're in someone's home no matter how seedy the business may look. Neon on the business means sex avail of some sort. Never say hooker, the girls are "Bar Fines". The Leos are cool but have something for those (usually drunk eastern Euros) that fight them. Pay what you agree to pay, trouble will show up real quick if you don't. Cheap Brits (called 5 cent Americans by the locals) find that fact out the hard way. Always, always wear a shirt with sleeves when you're not swimming. Everything is money driven.
We hear now Uber is the BFD.

Several other good takes Danny gave us I won't go into.
Great place, everyone is cool. Cheap, legit urgent care all over the place if you get sick or hurt.

If I was on a tight pension or SS I could retire there nicely.

If you order Thai hot you better be ready for it. They ask if you like it spicy and then smile with delight when you say yes.

A little sample of golf cart ride you have to take anywhere and everywhere since the entire resort is on a cliff side.
