Place looks amazing!
Are u going to get to see any ladyboy shows while ya there?
My wife wants nothing to do with those shows.
All jokes aside i heard that somewhere between 10-15% of all thai males become "Kathoey" and they are stunning, definitely a cutural experience to see, even just seeing them down the street in bangkok. My wife wants nothing to do with those shows.

Ok, gotta ask....What's Ping Pong?
If I'm not mistaken...a "performer" stuffs a ping pong ball(s) in her "purse" and then launches them at you using the power of her pelvic floor muscles.
My daughter and I went to Karon Beach in Phuket a couple years ago. On her bucket list was to see a lady show and it was a lot of fun. The men were so feminine and gracious, you almost forgot that they were all men. Beautiful place, and so affordable. We got massages everyday. Thank you for sharing your trip! Are u going to get to see any ladyboy shows while ya there?
They are different colored balls also. When I was there in the 90's. One show had a girl that could pop out the color you asked for.If I'm not mistaken...a "performer" stuffs a ping pong ball(s) in her "purse" and then launches them at you using the power of her pelvic floor muscles.

That was the scariest boat ride I ever had. My wife and I got on the ferry to head out to that island and raced on boad to get a good seat. As soon as we hit the open water the swells were giant and the bow was plowing really bad.
We grabbed our stuff and climbed on top of the boat. We were afraid we were going to end up in the news as some of the tourist that drowned in the horrific ferry sinking that we were sure was about to happen!
We stayed on the back side of the island for 40 bucks a night and would hike over to the main beach each day. Great spot!
I'll bet it's a little more developed since we were there in 1990. There were only about 10 people on the main beach at any given time then!!!
