They have been close to done many times.

The stock is currently emotionally valued vs fundamentally valued, but the valuation is what it is.

What he's done is amazing, despite his own mouthiness and unlikeability.

Sounds like Trump!!

I Love them both 👍

Was watching a financial show this morning, and they were talking about Tesla making their money off of selling energy credits to other vehicle manufacturers. They are actually losing money off of their car sales, and these credits are slated to sunset in 18 months. They also discussed the problem with obtaining Lithium like the above article states. Will the government step in and extend the energy credit scam?

The extended range cars and trucks that'll hit the market soon will give Tesla some serious competition.

Of course. Biden and the Dems are running the show. As long as they run things, EV is our future.

Anyone else enjoy going back to the first page and re-reading everyones "professional" analysis on the subject? lol

I was certainly wrong, but to be fair even according to Elon, the bears were less than 1 month from being correct.

He pulled it off.

It's up 63 today and back to where it was mid December.
Still highly overvalued, but incredible no less.

Bitcoin is sitting at 54K today up 13K from teslas buy in.

I'm waving at Tesla with my 3 month old bitcoin in my pocket. Still feels like a win. Someday I'll afford a boat, or nice backyard BBQ.....

So as the new Ford "Mach-E" starts to hit the streets much to no ones surprise the Ford dealer networks does everything it can to ream its customers.

Like this 10K markeup on the first units. Ford quashed it at this dealership when it went viral, but expect it to continue.

This is one of the big reasons that Tesla sells direct - to cut this crap out.

Same thing Chevy did with the Volts. They basically killed off early enthusiasm for greed.

Good for them. Pretty cool story of how they were touch and go to today. I should have jumped on that bandwagon in March 2020 :)

Hoping this success paves some of the way for Rivian.
Should have bought stocks when this all electric truck came out in about 1920;):D Just as ugly as the cyber truck though. :p
All electric vehicles are so old.lol My eldest brother [ born in 1923 ] was an electrical engineer and worked at Ganz Works.
Interesting info for some reading the history of Ganz Works https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ganz_Works

Janos Csonka [ co inventor of the carburator, Based on the patent of Karl Benz, in 1893 Csonka and his colleague Donát Bánki improved and developed the world's first modern carburetor. ] was involved with the development of this electric truck . He also built a car with transaxle in 1908,

Seems like a pretty benign issue with the cameras.. they are among the worst quality wise though.

I love how the headlines were all "500k Tesla's recalled over a safety issue"...... The fucking backup camera may stop working. whoopdee doo.

I've never owned a vehicle with a backup camera and never use them when in one that has them..... 🤣

BTW I read somewhere that Tesla shipped 50% more vehicles this year than last.

Yea it is a typical clickbait headline for sure.

A typical Tesla owner can’t drive the car without the backup camera though 😂

Hey hey. I’m not your typical Tesla owner. 🖕

I told the wife today that I’m not gonna concern myself with said recall until if and when it fails.
Like said above, we all managed most of our lives without them. I’ll be damned if I go out of my way to get a fix for something that might not need to be fixed.

What do you have to do? Do they come collect the car and service it somewhere?

This is the flip side of not having those grubby, money hungry dealers I’d think.

🤷‍♂️

I know with the bimmer I had to take it to Concord CA, our nearest dealer, for the two or three recalls we had with it in the 14 years we owned it.

That’s a lot of guys. That said it sounds like a simple-ish repair
They got a bunch,

I think the recall gives a time frame to the owner to get it done so you regardless of what vehicle its on you to make it happen.

I ignored a ridiculous recall on my titan and after about a year cal held registration.

You need to read the article again...

The other issue is the hood doesn't latch properly at times. This causes the hood to fly open and block your view!

Not sure why that's a problem with a self driving car, but...

😂 Tesla owners never open the hood.

The article also said there haven’t been associated accidents, injuries or deaths.

It’s a voluntary recall. My wife said she is not doing it unless she has an issue

The statement that is So fitting about Musk, he who laughs last, Laughs the Loudest and Longest. He sure has outlasted every "Doubter", up to this point.🤔
