Any of the high end full size SUV’s still have a market adjustment. I’ve had dealers ask me why wouldn’t I spend 10k for it. Then I ask why should I pay more than MSRP. Doesn’t go any further than that. I still haven’t got one though, as there is a guy behind me that will cough up the extra dough.
It’s now more the point for me. You got to put your foot down sooner than later or this will never change.
They were pulling that same crap on us when we bought the wife’s 4Runner. Went to Arizona and got it for under msrpI’ve been trying to buy a new 4Runner TRD Pro or 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium for the last 4 months. $10k over MSRP is the price. I won’t pay it. Anyone got a 2014 and up for sale?
I would daily the fuck out of a supercharged 5.0 4 door f150. Not many v8 cars the would be beating it on the street.I don’t get it. A fast truck or SUV is slower than almost any v8 car.
Go buy a regular Escalade, a v8 Camaro and build a garage to store them both in for under $250k
YesHow much does it depreciate when you drive it off the lot?
Try Bob Smith ToyotaI’ve been trying to buy a new 4Runner TRD Pro or 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium for the last 4 months. $10k over MSRP is the price. I won’t pay it. Anyone got a 2014 and up for sale?
For the $100k price delta over MSRP you could just hire a driver and sleep peacefully...Nothing will or ever will completely drive itself. Just saying
Basically, that’s what’s happening today. The dealers are auctioning off theses low volume/ high demand vehicles.Let’s say for a moment. You had an item to sell and you found 2 people to buy this item from you.
Buyer 1 will pay fair market price.
Buyer 2 will pay you double fair market price.
Whom would you sell it to?

If I owned a dealership and had bills to pay and I could find a sucker to pay it I would do the same.Basically, that’s what’s happening today. The dealers are auctioning off theses low volume/ high demand vehicles.
Exactly. People forget that there are people out there that have so much money that deciding what pen to use to write the check is the hardest part of buying something.Yep, basically a silent auction. They put a nutty price on it and see who bids closest. They will probably get 30k ove, because some just HAS, rot have it. Nuts.

Plus they have tax guys that will find a way to write off the damn thing anyway lol
They just dropped the price by 50k.. What a deal
They got all the free advertising they needed…
As stated, the thing will go for $20-$30k over MSRP.
Somewhere there is a rich guy that is calling right now to find out what it costs to have it in his driveway tomorrow. To me, that's not good advertising.. F that place. lol
LOL this is more than I paid for our first home 27 years ago and the Havasu house 3 years ago And more monthly than our current main house in Hawaii with a balance over 600k. LOL

BTW an outboard boat motor isn’t worth 70k either but that isn’t stopping anyone from having a couple strapped to the back of 2 beer cans and some plywood lol
Yeah, I know... But there must of been a shortage of rich guys calling or he wouldn't have lower his price. But I see yore point.
There is no shortage. That is how you deal with rich guys.
This is the Nordstrom business model. Mark it up 100%, discount it 25% and your clients think you are desperate to move inventory and they are getting a deal.
I’d guess you didn’t deal in PorschesHaving retired from new car dealer ownership life 12 years ago this phenomenon is nothing short of mind blowing....I literally can't fathom this shit.
And you would be able to tow 200k pounds with it!I would daily the fuck out of a supercharged 5.0 4 door f150. Not many v8 cars the would be beating it on the street.
No, BMWs and SAABs.I’d guess you didn’t deal in Porsches
