If the leak came from, and was endorsed by a justice they should resign immediately, as this is a means of using outside forces to pressure the decision of the court.

Whoever leaked this shouldn't be allowed to clean toilets at a law office.

Pyrrhic victory. Waterloo for the Republicans. This is a line in the sand for many moderates, including me, come election time (social moderate, fiscal conservative, independent, who usually votes republican).

Crowder is pointing out a clerk in Sotomayor's office as the leak. The clerk has been quoted previously by Politico.

I'll tell you what Charles... Do your job and craft legislation that enshrines a woman's right to end a pregnancy, and pass the legislation, and ensure that is will withstand constitutional muster. That's how it is supposed to work, not relying on SCOTUS rulings that are widely accepted as flawed.

Ya lazy coward.

Neither party wants to actually do anything about the issue because then they couldn't beat the populace over the head with it every couple of years.

Killing babies is your line in the sand?
You do understand this reverses the previous ruling and returns it to a State choice don't you?
In how many states was abortion legal when RvsW was codified?

Shits like PAC-MAN eating PAC-MAN instead of the GHOSTS🤔

Just sayin..🤷🏻‍♂️

Wouldnt it be cheaper to supply birth control when you sign up for welfare instead of letting them buy Rockstars and T-Bones?

Maybe they should pay the parasites in condoms.

You are dam right Roe v. Wade is my line in the sand. Same as 54% of Americans who favor Roe stands versus 28% who wanted it overturned. And yes I’m very well versed in the jurisprudence and facts surrounding Roe. Wasn’t born yesterday.

Roe was well established precedent in US law. This will further push the Republican Party away from the mainstream majority and for that I am sad.

53% of the born population is female. It’s how nature works.

53% of aborted kids are female. It’s how weak people kill.

Claiming womens rights, when you are actually advocating killing millions of women is fucking insane. That’s how democrats work.

So SC rulings should be a result of popular opinion, and not rule of law?
Frankly, not sure what your so bent up about, it isnt going to change a lot of things.
I’m not hard core pro life either, but I see this as the hot button single issue that you want to make of it. You go boy!
But if we are tossing out rule of law, is it reasonable to say that you are telling me that 54% of the populace needs killed?
Oh well, it’s only Tuesday, by Friday there’ll be a whole new media crisis.
Oh, and I wouldn’t worry about any moderates going to the dark side, both “sides” are already the enemy of this Nation.
Few stuffed boxes of ballots here or there will make up for it.

So, let’s discuss this as adults.

Is a 10 week abortion ok?

I’m game to engage in an intellectual discussion with you so long as we stay civil. Accordingly, let me pose a question to you.

If it could be proven that a total ban against handguns could save the lives of innocent people, would you support that ban, because after all “it would save lives?”

And BTW, I’m a staunch defender of the 2nd Amendment.

Abortion is not going away.. never will with certain cases.. it will go back to be governed by the state. This is called "democracy"

That's not even a legitimate question!!🤣🤣

Did the gun spread its legs and make a choice of no attempt at birth control? They had a choice when they took there pants off..

So fukn dumb..

There are select cases such as rape, that should be allowed..

No, and here's why. Gun ownership is specifically enumerated in the Constitution. Abortion rights are some deep, deviant definition of ones body and our rights to do what we see fit. Yet, many Americans were told "If you want to keep your job, you need to take this shot". What happen to our bodies, our rights?

As sad and horrific a child dying from guns is, I would not infringe on the rights of 350 odd million legal gun owners to save one or even a dozen child's lives.

And that comes from a father who held his daughter in his arms as she took her last breath.

Living in a free country is, by definition going to be dangerous at times.

You answered my question, so I’ll answer yours. I believe Roe prevents state regulation of abortions in the first trimester. Since I believe Roe is a reasonable law, I support that.

Nice try BTW.

I think that’s the first time you’ve posted that.
Most know your love of Brian, I think most don’t know the loss you and Lori live with.
The decisions that had to be made.
It’s more than I can even get my head around.

So, this decision, if it holds, will send it back to the states. So what's your beef?

My beef is that some states will impose an outright ban on all abortions. Believe it or not, I sympathize with the poor girl of low economic means in that state who will be denied that option.

On your second question, read Roe for my answer.

But back to my original point, I believe this is going to cost the Republicans dearly in any National contest, especially with females.

The leak was a planned move by the libbies to form public opinion. As long as they own the press, I don't buy into MSM narratives, and a narrative is exactly what they created with this leak.

I dont know anything about any of the justices other than the hoopla surrounding Kavanaugh and Barret in recent years. I would venture to guess Sotomayor is “not so bright” and is a leftist puppet based on her regurgitation of some wildly false data about kids and covid death counts sometime in the last 6 months or so. Someone in that position should be steadfast in speaking facts or abstaining from speaking, she was just trying to push the lefts narrative and showed what an idiot she is.

Sotomayor should be impeached and removed from the court. In a recent 8-1 decision, she was the sole dissenter. It was a case regarding welfare issues and benefits in Puerto Rico. Congress passed laws that exclude citizens in US Territories (PR, US VI, Marshall Islands, etc) from certain Federal Benefits. A resident of PR sued and lower courts sided with them, using the "brown people" argument. The Supreme Court stated that these actions are Constitutional, and overturned the lower courts. As I said above, Sotomayor was the sole dissenter in the 8-1 decision.

Sotomayor's parents were born and raised in Puerto Rico, and she still has relatives there who would have potentially benefited financially, if the case were allowed to stand.
