Long story short, an acquaintance asked if we wanted to go fish Catalina, so of course I jumped at the chance. I jammed down to Huntington Beach the night before, and slept at a relatives house so I'd be at the harbor first thing in the morning.

The next morning, I called the guy with the boat and asked him where to meet up. He said to meet him at the gas station and he would be "Driving his Jeep Wrangler."

That comment alone should have been my first clue, that the boat wasn't a "Big boat."

Not much sleep last night up on the bluff in CDM... my 7'x8' glass panes were flexing like never before so I put furniture up against windows best I could and held my breath till 4am. Deck furniture blowing everywhere and no idea where the firepit cover got to lol. We survived and its still moving pretty good

Had a heat wave today. Hit 8 degrees

Weekend is supposed to be nice. 50 degrees. Gonna put my shorts back on and wash all the mag-chloride off the car in the driveway.

Ordered me an underbody sprayer adapter, for my pressure washer. Hope it shows up. The mag-chloride shit they put on the roads out here really fuks up the underside of a vehicle. Really screws up anything aluminum.
