I know the trucker news this morning was I40 was closed...from Kingman to New Mexico
Camera feeds from Flag were showing stuff near whiteout, and the 17, 89, 89A and 269 were all basically circled, saying "ur fuct".

Had a heat wave today. Hit 8 degrees

Weekend is supposed to be nice. 50 degrees. Gonna put my shorts back on and wash all the mag-chloride off the car in the driveway.

Ordered me an underbody sprayer adapter, for my pressure washer. Hope it shows up. The mag-chloride shit they put on the roads out here really fuks up the underside of a vehicle. Really screws up anything aluminum.

Ya, that stuff isn't near as bad as the areas that salt the roads, but, it's sort of a light dose of the same stuff. Also, according to my buddy that recently retired from the State Highway, they mix some type of animal tallow or grease with it to allegedly cut down on the corrosiveness of it. That's why the sides of your vehicles always look "wet" after diving in that stuff..... your vehicle is covered in chicken grease !

Only took me 20 min doing 65 on the fwy to get to work this morning, no one was on the roads. Usually its 40 min for 16 miles.
