View of Lake Elsinore this morning
from the sky over our house.
I'm sure they will start dumping water out of the reservoirs Monday. If any politician says we’re in a drought after this winter I will slap his/her dirty mouth.
They have never stopped.I'm sure they will start dumping water out of the reservoirs Monday.

Yes, that is at the lodge. Been wanting to get up there for years. Nice area for sure. Cool that you have property up there. I want to go back to the restaurant and when there is snow up there. That picture you posted is the Hualapai mountain lodge bar and restaurant at the top of the mountain. Have you seen any of the carnage on the lake with the docks?Lake arrowhead 68in so far, more expected this week

Yep. West side myself. Couldn’t get to work this morning and no plowing seen yet. I did my driveway but can’t get further.I’m on the north east side of the lake, we’ve still not been plowed out yet. Since the storm started, not a single pass down my road. I’ve got 5’ at least all the way down my street, that is gonna set up like concrete. 2 more feet possible this week. I’ve never seen it where the county roads department has not run the plows. It’s past plow truck work now, it’s loader work now. The county has plow trucks and blades, from what I’ve seen, but I don’t remember many loaders. We’ll be holed up another week I bet. It’s been a long time since Ive seen this much snow for sure, but back then they were on top of snow removal. Crazy…
So many trees have fallen and more are going to fall. Soil gets soaked and then these big old ones just tip over.Saw on Fox 11 this morning that Woodland Hills got over 10" of rain from this storm
Wow, what a view. What area/mountains is that?View attachment 1204132
What a view though. We truly needed this. We need a few more winters like this.

Nope, not good at all. And that's just the ones they can get to for pictures, many more to come I hear. That’s not good.
Does the association require everyone carry insurance on the docks?Nope, not good at all. And that's just the ones they can get to for pictures, many more to come I hear.
News organizations are all about ratings and clicks. No different than RDP. Dave can post a boating video and it gets a couple dozen replies. Anyone starts a “sky is falling” thread and you can’t keep up with replies.LA local news (ch 9?) reported 100+ inches in Big Bear from this last storm system, with more on the way. I find it interesting, 99%+ of news media comments about the snow and rainfall seems to be horrorific, bitching and moaning. Don't hear any of them saying how it eases the drought and helps to refill many of our lakes. Today's news media just isn't much into Good News.
Or speed thread lmaoNews organizations are all about ratings and clicks. No different than RDP. Dave can post a boating video and it gets a couple dozen replies. Anyone starts a “sky is falling” thread and you can’t keep up with replies.
Holy crap! What? When? Where?“sky is falling”
You can read about it in the "hold onto your hats" thread......Holy crap! What? When? Where?
While holding onto my hat I lost my pants. What do I need to do now?You can read about it in the "hold onto your hats" thread......

Surprisingly no, and they could most likely only make you carry liability, like a boat.Does the association require everyone carry insurance on the docks?
The most fun was trying to find someone to insure property (dock) that has a parcel number (and therefore fucking property taxes) but no actual house on it. Most home insurance won’t do it.Surprisingly no, and they could most likely only make you carry liability, like a boat.
Hide under your desk and fold your hands on top of your head like they taught you in grade school! While holding onto my hat I lost my pants. What do I need to do now?
Seen it I think 2017 when every reservoir was overflowing and streams running full governor still said one year doesn’t get out of drought still. They will always spin it their way. IMO you can’t hold anymore water you ain’t in a drought.LA local news (ch 9?) reported 100+ inches in Big Bear from this last storm system, with more on the way. Fuckin mountains can't hold there snow. Not used to it.
Shit, that sucks, sorry Man!Seems like the singles with canopies are flipping over. No ballast underneath, all the ballast is now 8’ in the air. Several of my homies are in trouble right now.
I belive that is baldy. I'm in orange county. That's the 91 just below me.Wow, what a view. What area/mountains is that?
That really sucks. Not to mention you probably can’t deal with them for another few weeks.Seems like the singles with canopies are flipping over. No ballast underneath, all the ballast is now 8’ in the air. Several of my homies are in trouble right now.
