Caught an update...Fractured skull, ruptured eardrum, broken collar bone. The "perp" is pursing a civil rights violation claim (which he should). This is going to cost John Q Taxpayer a lot.... but like the fine example of an officer said...the perp is just a dumb bastard who deserved it. BTW medical bills exceed $75k already.

Some cops are just fuckers, growing up got pulled over at 17 as a passenger in a guys car from work.
He had broken tail light and it was a summer afternoon. Cop walked asked for license, reg and when buddy handed over cop pulled out gun said stay in car, dont move and he backed away. With in minutes 2 more cars showed on blocking us in front we are freaking out!
Cops come up to car with guns out screaming out of the car on the ground hands over our heads.
Cuffs slammed on, knee in my back grabbed by wrist and up against car.
They stick me in one car back seat, him in the other.

Turns out he had a hunting knife in sheath on the back floor behind his seat.
I got let go on the side of the road, towed the car, he was charged with having a concealed weapon.
Buddy had no money and they ended up reducing charges to somethng less and got probation.

I think if we would have done anything to question or fight back would have ended busted up good that day.
This was 1977
