Been through both front diff and rear trans multiple times for check ups, all will be good under normal conditions.

That sounds great when do you think you’ll have one of the transmissions in the half cutaway view like what you have for all the other brands. I’d really like to see it up close even if it’s up at your location up there.

Maybe in a few years when I actually have time to make one.

just a reminder that if you buy an RS none of that shit changes except for wheel base and maybe a couple of features.
still a shitty front end, and you have to spend another 10k-15k to set that car up correctly.

now in CanAm's defense i think they have a good powertrain thats reliable.

Hell, 'Ol RG is just proud as a peacock, and can't hardly contain it. This past 1-2 years he's been overworked, probably twisted and prodded by regulators, goverments, possibly partners and financiers, covid, China, flying all over, and likely at times wondering if the entire frikkin universe is against him. He's finally seeing the finish line, or at least a light at the end of the tunnel, and he proud, just like a new Dad! All he needs to do is to hand out cigars.

I don’t have a dog in the fight but the side by side comparison video with the Can-am was pretty impressive. Made the Can-am look even uglier and the Speed looked superior in every way. ( enter the Can-am nut swingers)

I really hope the best for Robby and Speed, hopefully it all works out. I give him props for taking on the two monsters in this UTV game and having that “I can do it better” mentality.

The hate for Robby and Speed during the past two years on this forum has been unreal. I’ve always seen Robby as kinda “one of us” as he is a true offroader and boater being a “ Parker guy”.

I hope they live up to the hype.

As someone who’s shared a lot of cool stuff, don’t you think you’d have had it easier with a spokesperson?

Meaning that you share projects when you’re ready to share them. You don’t discuss lack of financing, parts, customer wavering, etc.

It’s really easy for people to say you need an Accounting, PR, Project Manager, Sales Manager, CEO, etc. Every single one of those titles cost 150k a year plus benefits.

Then there is the inevitable double down where people say without the above you’re not really a multimillion dollar business. Which I guess is technically true. But Google, Oracle, Tesla, IBM etc all started in garages. So I feel like it’s pretty disingenuous to be paid by these companies or companies like them while calling Speed a failure or a Ponzi scheme.

When we get down to brass tax 1% of the world has the balls to take a risk. The other 99% get to benefit from it.

I mean I can only imagine how bad the supply chain has been over the past couple years for them.

I think this is a great step forward in the industry and it’s going to benefit US the consumer in the end.

Just remember, even as the other companies had to start somewhere, and then improve. Will there be problems on some? sure. But every year that goes by, the Speed UTV will get better and more custom touches that they didn't put on or offer or think of. I personally think within two to five years this thing is going to be damn near a mini trophy truck.

in 2019 UTV driver said they are a wash between turbo S and x3 maverick …. each unit has pros / cons

can am will upgrade around 2025

i don’t believe cam am x3 has had any stop rides, recalls since 2016 steering issue was fixed about 2300 cars

rzr has had a few recalls/ stop ride notices

I agree It should be compared to the pro R since the Pro R is the best on the market currently. On paper they are very similar in weight and HP. What I want to see is if the speed's hydraulic power steering and shocks are better and if it handles better. The speed car does have much better geometry; lower/better COG, roll center, tire scrub, bump steer, track change, its wider, and shorter. A lot of these aspects/specs ordinary people don't understand on paper and it doesn't mean shit until you get behind the wheel. Time will tell! He really needs to stop talking and deliver, I have a feeling the car in the wild will shut a lot of people up.

Actually a more accurate comparison would be with the Pro turbo R as that is in the same industry category & racing class (1000cc turbo) as the Speed UTV. He needs to also compare the X3 RC model not the RS.
