Looks like Speed took the top qualifying spots for Rage At The River this weekend in Laughlin.
I wish them luck. They need some good press.I’m curious how Speed does in this race. Qualifying #1 and #2 is huge. They stay out of the dust but it’s lap racing so no dust only lasts so long. Max can wheel the shit out of a car, dust or otherwise, but let’s see how the car holds up.
They should be leaving the line any minute.

How many miles is this course they are on?
5 out of the top 10 quals are Can Hams !
Or
11 out of the top 20
1:38 to 1:55.
Is the #1 driver related to @Tony DCB Boats. Looks like the same last name and from El Cajon?Looks like Speed took the top qualifying spots for Rage At The River this weekend in Laughlin.

I think it ends up being somewhere around 200-250 miles over the two days of racing. Lap racing isn’t as fun as point to point racing to me so I’ve never competed in it but have a ton of good friends racing it this weekend. My text messages are blowing up this morning.
The course is a whooped out mess so it’s not an easy 200-250 miles. It’s not far in terms of race miles but it’s tough on equipment and a good place to challenge the cars endurance.
Yeah, I looked all over, and couldn't find the course distance either!
Must be top secret.
I downloaded that too to try and figure it out.
It looks like there is a 3min time difference for the qualifying teams?
That's a LOT for a short course!
Or is it 3 seconds maybe?
I'm just trying to figure it out.
They leave the line in 30 second intervals. None of that matters. Corrected time at the end of the race is the only thing that matters.

Of course. (No pun intended)
Any idea how many laps in a heat?
Thanks for the update.Robby blew an engine according to his crew.
Max broke a belt and then blew an oil line or cracked tank or something of some sort with oil all over.
Todd blew a tire and broke axle but finished
Bronsen blew a belt but finished day 1.

Just curious is there a part called a “Star”. Last week I was sitting at the bar at Islands in AH a couple barstools away from Robby and another guy. I overheard him saying once they took a part apart he wanted to see what the star looked like.? I have no idea what he was talking about. Nice guy!Speed needs Jesus to help at this point
Time for tune 11.Speed needs Jesus to help at this point

It’s comical at this point. They should just stop racing. They can barely finish let along podium.Robby blew an engine according to his crew.

That’s so bad when even the most professional race prep job from the factory race team is spoiled by weak parts and drivetrain issues. The best chassis and suspension in class matters not when they can’t finish.Robby blew an engine according to his crew.

Shit you still have one on order? I thought you walked away? That’s so bad when even the most professional race prep job from the factory race team is spoiled by weak parts and drivetrain issues. The best chassis and suspension in class matters not when they can’t finish.
We know Robby and Max can out drive most if not all the UTV drivers but it sucks they can’t push to the limits.
If Speed doesn’t BK and can produce 100 cars a month starting now, I will see my 3000# car mid 2027.
Sold my early # to a friend/coworker for cost, kept the other because it’s only a $1000 deposit on a base model with no added accessories . It’s really just turned into a joke with my friends. We have plenty of utv’s now for the whole family so I’m not worried about it. Hopefully they figure it out in the next few years because my $30,000 speed car will be a great deal I can flip to buy another canamShit you still have one on order? I thought you walked away?

“Early” just meant my earlier number. It is 1542 I think, so he’s still waiting. He just got a brand new 2025 loaded 4 seat X3 (old style) for $35k I’m not sure which dealer. How has the early number car been for your friend?

And Im pretty sure those are all X3s...not Mav Rs.Looks like a good day for the new Can Am. Dominated the Turbo class and picked up the top spot in Unlimited. Polaris has a ton of fast cars.

Interesting, I figured the new trans would make an immediate impact. And Im pretty sure those are all X3s...not Mav Rs.
We had a massive SxS parade come through our neighborhood this weekend, one of the new Mav Rs with an exhaust got on it when leaving and those shifts sounded crispy!Interesting, I figured the new trans would make an immediate impact.
Oh it did... Joe Terrana won the Unlimited class in a Mav R. I "think"... and could be wrong, I don't know how their classes break down.. but I think the MavR cant run in the Pro Turbo class.Interesting, I figured the new trans would make an immediate impact.
