No way he puts anything but a Speed engine in a Speed. Can you imagine how that would go over running another UTV manufacturers engine? Maybe he’s running a bigger bore engine? Also the Pro R engine, trans & separate rear dif complicates things and is not an easy engine swap.RG is trying to pull something and is entered in the Pro 2000 class.......he is just messing with everyone or he put a Pro R engine in his car.......
No new customer cars at the dealership. They delivered three cars on Saturday including ours. Normally customer's are taking delivery the same or next day when they get to Havasu.Question or 2 for Ya !
Did you notice any other NEW cars inside the Havasu location or Did it seem empty & no activity going on ?
When did they call you for pickup / delivery / dinero for your car ?
Asking for a nerfing Inmate….
LoL
What was your master number? No new customer cars at the dealership. They delivered three cars on Saturday including ours. Normally customer's are taking delivery the same or next day when they get to Havasu.
In the morning the service area was fairly empty and by 12:00 pm 4-5 cars were dropped off for normal service.
Speed sends you a picture of your car getting loaded into the shipping container. Delivery is 4-6 weeks after that, including PDI. When your car arrives at the PDI facility they contact you for payment, signatures and Warranty.
Feel free to call me if you have any other questions. Shane 818-540-5656

I know how you feel about not getting your car. I was super excited the first two years and the last year not so much. Now that I have my car the excitement is back.Jefe
You should have and I'm glad you didn't. I would be happy to buy you a beer sometime!Man I should have bet you last summer for delivery. Congrats on getting your car. I’m sure you’ll love it.
Congrats on the car brotha! You and the wife look ecstatic. Can’t wait to see the finish product of your riviera home when it’s complete. You should have and I'm glad you didn't. I would be happy to buy you a beer sometime!
To be honest, I don't even want it at this point.I know how you feel about not getting your car. I was super excited the first two years and the last year not so much. Now that I have my car the excitement is back.
My guess is you will get your car in May.
Thanks and I'm working my ass off trying to pay for all this stuff. Hopefully I will have time to enjoy it. I can't wait for the day the Riviera house is done and all my toys are finally in the garage!Congrats on the car brotha! You and the wife look ecstatic. Can’t wait to see the finish product of your riviera home when it’s complete.
That's how I felt, but once it shows up you will get pumped up again. BTW, the fit and finish on the current cars is a lot better than the early cars.To be honest, I don't even want it at this point.

You around this coming weekend? I will give you a call tomorrow about it!If you r gonna run that windshield take it to Morgan motorsports I’m telling ya.. lol
That's positive news! I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts as you get to drive it.That's how I felt, but once it shows up you will get pumped up again. BTW, the fit and finish on the current cars is a lot better than the early cars.
Hard to justify another couple more grand to fix another Speed design flaw. And needing the oil cooler is not just for running a windshield. TR is saying the oil cooler helps lower the heat transfer from the engine to the CVT.If you r gonna run that windshield take it to Morgan motorsports I’m telling ya.. lol

You didn't have to , you wanted to because there is 1,000 out there without those modifications !I don't find it hard to justify at all.. When I bought my Can Am I had to put in a front bulkhead and a bunch of other shit before I even drove it. Shit happens, identify the problem fix it and move on.

Wow, can't believe this came from your keyboard! Did you get hacked?Hard to justify another couple more grand to fix another Speed design flaw. And needing the oil cooler is not just for running a windshield. TR is saying the oil cooler helps lower the heat transfer from the engine to the CVT.
Out of curiosity, when did you get the picture of your car when it was shipping, and how long did it take to get it to you?Look what followed me home today! Robby brought my car from Anaheim this morning. He also spent a hour with me going over the car. Good dude and I'm super pumped!

I received email with shipping picture 7/12Out of curiosity, when did you get the picture of your car when it was shipping, and how long did it take to get it to you?
I will agree the front bulkhead in the can am was junk we replaced ours. It’s a matter of how bullet proof people wanna make it. I’m the type of guy who doesn’t want issues so I try to do what I can to prevent and you seem the same Dave.I don't find it hard to justify at all.. Dumping Cash to improve looks, fix issues, increase performance & comfort isn’t a problem.
The problem is RG promoted Speed Car as Not needing upgrades….
So dumping $5-6 k on the speed car is the same as a Can Am / Polaris ….
YepSeems some of the Speed owners are spending well over $5K for alleged fixes and some actual fixes.
You didn't have to , you wanted to because there is 1,000 out there without those modifications !
The double shear bulkhead, shock tower brace and lower a-arm gusset are definitely needed in a X3, however that is all easy and can be done for around $600 for entry level stuff in 4-5 hours.lol. I watched my buddy Roy take a brand new (less than 50 miles) can am down a basic trail following me in my ranger.. we hit the same bump hiis car folded up like oragami and ended up upside down.
So I guess you don’t have too, but after watching that I just decided I would. lol.
He out, too unreliable.
1600 miles on mine no issues...He out, too unreliable.
Speed has that going on that the cars are very unreliable. Look at Dave’s
Turbo
Engine
Oddly no belts I think
But needed 6000$ worth of stuff to drive with windshield
Dave prolly has close to 60k in his and still unreliable lol
Want to trade wheels lolLook what followed me home today! Robby brought my car from Anaheim this morning. He also spent a hour with me going over the car. Good dude and I'm super pumped!
