No shit.. you think Tesla could get it right, they have only released 5 cars, and are years late on the latest 2 and they have been in business over 15 years.

Although putting a deposit on a Tesla you are assured to pay more, and get less than promised when the model does debut

He told me that, he has some good friends in the first 100 orders, and they are getting skipped, as well as the Coyne dealership cars since they can't sell in California yet.

So if you are in the first 125 cars, you have now moved up in line.

Funny how 5 or 6 years ago nobody had a extra 30k to spend on a sxs but today a sxs with a few bolt on items people line up at 50 or 60k . If speed is going to deliver to non carb customers why are they not being delivered today ?

He pretty much reinforced what they already told those these early people a month ago, at most it has slipped 2 weeks due to a fix for a problem they found.

I wouldn’t have to deal with CARB either way, but Coyne does. Better for the private people waiting for cars in my opinion.

Ya know, if Speed did deliver as originally planned(I won't say promised) it would be a 2 yr old "outdated" car. As it stands now, it has been getting dated sitting on the shelf with zero real world consumer testing. Sure, it has had RG testing but not in a manner the everyday owner might.
I do not doubt it'll be a quality ride, but really now......how about he put the horse in front of the damn cart and get these Fuggers to market.
