Your intentional replacement of his word “customers” with “Speed” in two separate posts is odd. Why are you doing that?
Like @dirtslinger2 said. These customers are going back to Speed to have the trans replaced. It’s up to Speed if they want to send the broken ones Weddle to inspect.

Re: Transmissions

The agreement between Speed and Weddle is that any transmission/front diff work will be shipped to Weddle (me), whether that is to fix broken units, or service/freshen up units that might be a little tired or between races.

Since Robby has mentioned our involvement more than a few times, a few customers have contacted me directly asking me various questions. Again, only (2) confirmed failures that I personally know at this time.

I have been in contact with Robby in the past few weeks. I can say that more than a few posts in this thread and others are blowing this way out of proportion. But that is standard operating procedure for open forum participation. Pick the information you want to believe carefully.

Does your agreement with Speed allow work on customer supplied units that are outside of the warranty or that do not want to go through Speed?

Sure, but the customer will pay me directly for any work we do on them outside of handling it through Speed. Any warranty issues need to be dealt directly with Speed.

I bet that guy in the Video would complain just the same if nothing on the car was broken.
Holy hell, a RG Tattoo? He's a complete attention whore.
Well, at least it’s not on his chest where his wife would have to see it when they’re doing you know what.

Gen 2 trans got delivered just after the first 10 production cars were delivered. Remember Speed replaced the Gen 1 transmissions in all of those cars after the failures at KOH.

I don't know what broke yet. Only chatted with customers over the phone about it.
I’d be curious too I think Nick chupa and David tattoo were both running way aggressive paddle tires for the amount of power. The cars have at the present time there’s no way that could not be playing havoc on the transmission it would be the same thing as if I took the paddles off my buddies that have V-8 and put them on my 2 1/2 L Subaru with my Volkswagen transmission.

Coyne is a good dealership. My guess is there's 2 or 3 stories. If there's a serv dept issue it will be handled.
