This is a 1971 Spectra 24. We decided to redo the boat instead of replacing it since it has been such a good boat for us the last 40 years.

I couldn't find any pics from the rework. It has been a few years. Here are a few that show some of the insides. We had the work done by West Coast Marine Interiors. They replaced the floors, moved the steering wheel forward, replaced the tanks and added the open bow.

Here’s a few pics of my 79 20’. Entire boat has been completely redone. New Mercruiser H/O 350 injected motor dropped in this last summer. Boat runs an honest 62 mph on the gps. Fast enough for us.

Yep.
Sold ours 4 years ago. Dad and I restored it and had it for 25 years. Moved our boating from Mead to Havasu. Went to the deck boat. A hard change at the time but the right one.

I can tell you almost any spec of the boat.
The basics are a 496” 454+1/4” stroke and some bore. Motor makes 912hp on pump gas at 7 psi.

tranny is a Cullhane 400 with close ration 2-3 gear set.

v drive us a c500 48 percent overdriven on a York three blade.

Yes it is. Ran great until the starter went out. It was sitting for quite a while and i expected stuff like this.

I also just received all the receipts on the work/maintenance done over the past 10 years... no expense was spared. I stoked with the boat.
