The first photo is my old boat. When the guy added the thru transon it really improved that boat.

I wanted to talk to the guy and take a closer look, but I thought he'd think I was a weirdo if I chased him down.. LOL

I bought the boat as a basket case. Ripped out the interior and took it to Custom Canvas, my dad did the motor, b & d went through the drive, pulled it off the trailer and sand blasted it and painted it black. I wanted tabs on it as I felt the nose was too light for Parker.

It was a good boat, sold it to start a business and buy a ski centurion. The guy I sold it to gave to his bro-in-law who was driving it.

It was a good boat and my second. First was a 75' Southwind jet with a 460 30 over.

I would think you'd be able to keep that NV plate if you registered the trailer there. H20Ski2Fast on here can make you the new stickers. He made those.

I woulld be up for a Spectra Regatta, but it would have to be later in the summer. My 12 year old will be playing baseball in Cooperstown, NY and my 10 year old will be in the Pony MUstang World Series.

I will have at least 2 Spectra 20's and maybe 3 if my 24 is done.

Ok I reconize the CF numbers on the Orange And White Spectra in the photo. That was my first Spectra. Does anybody know who owns it now. I would like to get a hold of them to see what changes they have done?

I think he is talking about the 20 in the first post. as my #s arent visible in any of the pictrues I posted.

New to this site but thought I would throw out my Spectra....

Everything new or completely redone....still the classic original gel
460 BBF with 500 horse; Berk jet all blueprinted

Just a nice cruiser with tunes, plenty of power and solid as a rock....

We are up here in Reno/Tahoe but interested if you all have a regatta

Please let us know would be nice to meet some other Spectra peeps

Boat is very nice, worth everything I paid in my opinion...
I looked for about 6 months and this one is completely re-done, all I did was put a split bowl on and a place diverter.
My only future upgrades this summer will be a marine carb and alternator to make the coast guard guys happy
Boat performs very well with the trim tabs and diverter, get lots of compliments on the old school colors
Did you end up finding one anyway?

Speaking of Spectra photos... does anyone have any pictures showing the driveline of a V-drive Spectra that has "factory" rigging? The reason I ask is I've got a few extra holes in the center two stringers and my best assumption is that at one point in time the boat was equipped with two driveshaft loops. As it is now if a joint lets go the shaft is free to thrash about. I'll be fixing this before the hull hits the water and would like to keep things as original as possible. I'm interested in recreating what Spectra had originally done. I've seen in the Glenwood catalog that they offer a cast aluminum driveshaft guard that mounts between the stringers. Any chance Spectra used those back in the day?
