Any updates? Any other depth-challenged back yards? We've got a ton of room on the side, but the wife is pushing for something off the back of the house so we can see it from the living room and bedroom.

As far as your house, plenty of room to build. What city and setbacks ?
If the 10ft side and 25ft rear is Building Line set backs then that’s a no go in rear

According to my neighbor the 10/25 ft are for the house and the rear property line set back is 6ft. I just looked up Argyle and found 3ft from rear/side property line, and 5ft from building foundation. I’m guessing once we get serious about the build, or meet neighbors with a pool, we’ll get the true info

5ft is semi norm for most properties in ca. 3ft for eastvale, 0ft in Long Beach, some cities with huge properties are 10-25ft set backs
Argyle? As in Texas. No idea likely 3-5ft. And from structure is likely same. How ever w surcharge details you could build right up to house structure

Another spa build, in mission viejo. Ideas for small backyards.
This backyard is actually large and could have a fit most any pool they wanted. But they got what they wanted, Sport court behind spa/fence, patio and bbq in front of spa. guess I didn’t take pics after all completed.

The other havasu pool I helped with. We did through shotcrete and equipment.
locals did the tile, paver, masonry, and pebble
Im gonna go back and help finish what locals left undone, skimmer lids, bbq, counter, linear firepit behind pool. Hopefully in the next couple weeks. Awfully close to being done.

Love your work!

everything looks like it grew there!

Question -
the gutter around the spa. How does that get cleaned and brushed?

I like the small yard pools - plunge / Spools I’m getting sone good ideas for mine ….someday!

That Chinese pool looks like a resort yard, I bet they dont even use the pool.

I do gutters so they can be cleaned/serviced and or refinished with out having to replace coping.
We typically leave 6in finish so a 6in brush can go inside. Guys that leave 1-2in gap dont care about service or future re tile / re pebble

china pool was originally intended for their kids “training”
honestly I don’t think Iv ever seen kids there of any age, and correct they do not use.

Westlake village major remodel project. Reshape pool, change pool depths, move spa, add pool cover, replumb, new equipment, coping, tile, pebble, deck match stone and extend, 2 fountains save and clean tile with new pebble finish. Referred by an RDP member who also did / is doing a lot of work at the property.

Update on corona pool. We did pool spa, splash pad, that pulls water from pool and returns it to pool. Eliminates need for surge tank and separate chemical and filtration systems. Owner of house actually made his own valve controls to actuators that fire nozzles per his firing order. He saved literally thousands. This house is a family paradise for all ages. In ground trampoline, pool slide, Splash pad, 40 x 100 rv garage, underground golf simulator, underground shooting range, the list goes on. Next photo shoot w Tommy for website, we’ll get whole house shot and some videos

Different color coping? As in white versus gray pavers. It’s what they wanted, they have walls caps, stairs etc around entire property all precast white caps treads and coping. The larger side is for pool cover vault, it’s under the deck, and needs to be removable for service/repairs
large format white porcelain pavers would have looked better IMO, but he didnt want.

When are you going to come south to San Diego to help with my in ground jacuzzi?? =)

DLC; Yes all tile baja, no reason other than because I can and it looks cool. lol
it is smoother on feet and won’t get damaged from chairs etc
gutter around spa is 12in wide a 9in brush will fit in there to clean
thank you

TW; San Diego is possible depending on what you want done.

D-I-A possibly, it’s why I used white to try and minimize plus chiller will make up for it

We're easy...we just want to get an in ground jacuzzi added to our pool or pool area. looking to fit into the schedule within the next two years.

Easy until you find out costs to “just add a spa” to existing, lol

partial Or all of deck out to plumb, coping, tile, plaster/pebble in pool, likely new equipment since pool only set ups aren’t usually enough to support a spa also. depending on yard size it may be more cost effective to do separate spa and equipment.

2 years is a window I could work with, lol
