Melloyellovector,
Do you re-plaster pools with 3m color quartz? i built my pool like 15 years ago. Looking to re-plaster with a mix of blue and black 3m quartz.
Looking to make my pool a deeper blue.

Not 3m, they got out of pool finishes years ago. But yes we do quartz.

Personally not a huge fan because cost equalls mini pebble but the benefits aren’t as good as Pebble.
But we’ll do any finish a buyer wants, what city?

Hey angler if you like I’m in San Dimas. We just got a pebble with this glass bead installed with crushed abalone. I won’t recommend the guy that did it but I’m sure MYV has access to this same stuff.

My job is coming along, so please feel free to reach out to me if any of you are considering getting or redoing a pool. I have some thoughts and lessons learned. Once my job is complete, I’ll post some of them. [emoji6]

Mid 40k range w deck
I just forwarded that pic to my bro in law. That little bastard would be PERFECT in his back yard. He likes. Thought Oxnard is not in your area from what you've said.

Batterup should recognize this backyard. We had some major struggles along the way. In the end I think we’re all good.:):cool::D:D

This one is bad ass, my style, its funny how that little bit of artificial turf stops it looking like wall to wall concrete which is always a bummer. I get the need for it, but aesthetically, this does so much in my eye to make it look more inviting.

Fullerton project. Someone is a fan of brick, lol

This house has some serious brick Everywhere. Bulk of it is from Higgins brick company that is no longer in business. It was a real challenge matching it to blend in deck areas of old/new.
Nearly 40ft Infinity lap pool with close to 5ft raised bond beams, barstools in pool outside of spa, 6ft retaining walls on side of house and backyard, 2 fire pits, enormous bbq. I’m normally not a fan of red brick, but on this house it just works.

Orig backyard pics are at bottom. Was not a very functional backyard before. Not it’s classy party central

Hey Tim, just a random question... If a baller customer came up and said "I Need this pool done yesterday, here is a blank check", how long can you flip a Pool from Design, Dig to Pool Party? Inspections and Permits aside, and not a super complicated set up, but something pretty nice with hardscape and features with accessible materials...

Open check book, to get me to stop all other work and pretend they are the only job I have prob 30 days or less. He better know what he wants before we start. No time for material samples and selections

We did it for a home builder in 07 that couldn’t get occupancy with out water in the pool, and loan was going to hit some fat fees if not done by target date. 2 weeks from layout to water in pool. He paid with a smile and we delivered with a smile.

View attachment 717235 View attachment 717236 Well here we go, day two in Las Vegas. Pool is 53' long and 13' wide at the most narrow part, 4.6" deep. Hidden drains, three 4.5 HP pumps with 5" lines, all variable speed controlled by a pad.
All Pentair with double salt systems, massive heater and spa booster.

Pool center is a 13' x 30' volleyball section, 9' wet deck at south end.

West side of pool is a 20' wide by 8.5' tall grotto with slide in north side that has the 8 person spa inside. Grotto has a 9' wide sumken bar, 4 in pool seats and a bench seat facing north to allow viewing of the volleyball game. Bar will have Beverage Air bar back frig, and 65" HDTV 4K.
Pool plaster is a blended quartz to match Red Rock Canyon that is the backdrop we see of our window and is the mountain backdrop for the pool.

Bar has a 250 strand fiber optics so the ceiling will look like stars at night.

Over grotto entry is a 6' wide waterfall, led lighting and a 250,000 BTU, 5' long flame to give a Mirage Hotel sort of look.
Hey Boatpi, whatever happened with this build?
