was following this thread for a while, congrats on the new house:thumbsup. We were listing our townhouse last week and had open house on Saturday and Sunday. Over 100 people milled through. Had 5 offers from five different real estate agents last night and closed 80K over asking :champagne: We bought a house up in the South Okanagan 3 weeks ago so it's cool not to get stuck with owning two homes.:thumbsup

Well, my house is officially listed.

To say that I am excited and a little scared would be an understatement.

We truly love this house ... but we want more land and a pool.

My goal was to be in this house for 10 years. After 10 years, we would reevaluate everything and go from there.

It has been 11 years in this house ... and it's time to go.

Let's see what happens.

Good luck sucka...u should check out the area I was telling u about over here. Then you'll be closer so I can come pee in your pool. :D

Our plan, as of right now, is to sell and rent ... until the market dives again. Then we'll buy. I want to steal something.

Now ... if we find something that fits our criteria and price, then maybe we'll buy right away.

We really enjoy living in Eastvale. We would like to stay here if possible, but would entertain the surrounding areas if it meets our needs.

👍 my wife wants to do the same and try to land some horse property in chino. I'm scared

Dude, it is an extremely uneasy feeling for me. I don't like the thought of moving twice if we rent. But if that is what it takes for us to get into our last house, then so be it.

I am on my retirement plan, and part of it is being into my last house by the time I'm 40.

I have owned 4 houses and plenty of land to choke a goat. I am down to 3 acres and a house , at my age I am burned out and really don't want to own a home anymore.

I jus want to spend my money on toys and vacation. I can live in a rv [emoji12][emoji106][emoji202]

Hope it all works out for ya hankster and Vic if you get property be prepared to spending a lot of time at home and if you add horses, forget them river trips. [emoji202]

That's what scares me. Feels like I'm gambling just trying to get into another house and I'd like to have my house paid off when I retire. We might not be too far behind you guys 😁 good luck hope everything works out and you guys make some money and save some money 😎

Ya u will. I call them hay burners. Horses are not cheap , it's a lot of work and always have to feed them, so u want to go to the river for a weekend u better have someone to look after them. [emoji202]

Congrats Hank!! With what is going on in the market right now worldwide, I think that with the cost of money being at all time lows you should think about buying again. Real estate in the US will keep appreciating as foreign money continues to flood our market. The renting idea sounded good to me too, but after a lot of thinking and finding the right deal, I am happy we decided to buy again.
