We're in an election cycle and politics are not only dominating the headlines but also the commercials in battleground states, and the candidate signs are plastered on any and every vacant lot and billboard. Accordingly, it's top of people's minds these days and everyone has an opinion. Personally, I haven't noticed anything difference in temperature here now vs. before. And why people get hurt over comments by anonymous internet strangers is beyond me (although a lot of you know each other personally, but I'm guessing you're not the people getting your feelings hurt...).

If it's not hurting your business or otherwise adversely impacting you, then let it run its course and people will move on as new topics get posted. It's what we do.

I remember a former member on here who provided an opposing view to every topic. He lasted quite a while, years in fact.
Ultimately all his claims ended up being proved false, and he had a TDS meltdown and left.

Seems to me that the problem is that more and more ego driven people are waking up to the reality that they are wrong about pretty much everything and they really have very little control of anything other than to continue within the usual negative feedback loop rather than foment real change. They live in a fear based existence. Which is very sad and unnecessary.

No matter what forum it discussed in it will end up triggering these people and their cognitive dissonance. Their realization that deep down inside, the lack of caring about the reality they have existed in, is actually responsible for the creation of it.

Energy flows where the focus goes.

People need to stop being so driven by the mind/ego and act from the heart coming together as human beings to endure the revelations that are still to come and to be prepared to dispatch the evil that exists around us all.

I believe your previous statement, that of triggered cognitive dissonance, is probably pretty accurate. I don't think many even understand that they are ego driven. They don't see it that way, and far be it from any of us to point it out. The reality that we've lived in has for too long been nothing but a fabrication. With the new forms of communication, the flow of information is much faster and a broader reach. This is very bad for groups wanting to keep secrets, or those trying to run a separate agenda than the masses.

The truth, or reality if you will, is currently laid bare. Even those who were complete believers in what was, are starting to realize it was fiction. They are scared. Humans fear the unknown, and we as a race are moving daily further into it.

Am I scared? Yes, but not for humanity. There are things much closer to home I worry about everyday. The Bible, and all it's various versions and religions, speak of Revelations and Judgement. Buddhists believe in cyclical reincarnation until one has exhausted their Karma, and reaches Nirvana...somewhere within the 6 realms of existence.
