Super TV is what I've been using.
This is what the icon looks like for me
Yea that is what I use on my old one, for some reason the app for selecting apps isn't showing up, I'm sure I did something wrong.

Got mine today and it’s working great. Is that supposed to be a Bluetooth remote? I have to point the remote directly at it.

Some of you didn’t have a chance to meet up last time so I’m coming out to Havasu this Saturday June 1 for a short time.

Shoot me an email [email protected] if interested in a new box. Special Cash price

Thanks Mike IMG_0796.jpeg

Make sure you program the Bluetooth feature. You’ll need to pair it.

Bluetooth remote setup

Go to the gear ⚙️ in the lower left

Click on remotes and accessories

Find the R100 and click on it

On the remote hold down the OK button then hold down the return arrow. Keep holding for 3-5 seconds until the light on the remote stop’s blinking and shows paired on the screen

Hello Mike,
I am trying this and not having any luck.
I click on remotes and accessories and it goes directly to searching mode on the device and then when I try to hold down both buttons on the remote, the lights on it instantly go out.

I'm still not paired.

Suggestions?

Oh wow I finally got mine to pair!!
Man what a difference!!

@Waterjunky can you see the “rc100” when you go to the remote settings?
Make sure it’s highlighted but do NOT “click” on it.

Simply hold down OK and the return button until it says paired.
I’ve been trying off and on for a freaking year.
Finally did it like this and it worked.
Night and day difference.

Anybody else having problems with their boxes buffering constantly or not working at all for periods of time?

My son said F this and ordered Netflix.....no problems at all but if we go to the box its back to that BS buffer shit. Its becoming unusable. Using the same hotspot for access. This is kind of what happened with the old boxes back in the day until they were just thrown out.

What say you?

No its not....Netflix uses the same connection and no buffering
I have Netflix and the box and have the same issue, and like you, Netflix works perfect. The box buffers all the time and I honestly think it's my internet. We are rural and our internet has always been slow because our provider refuses to put in new line or fiber for a few houses.

Bandwidth is bandwidth for the most part.....what you got utilizing it matters of course but....no difference in use for us.....Netflix works and the box is starting to fail regularly

I am rural as well...

Could it be that Netflix as ordered is not 4K for us. I believe the box is 4K. Can that be changed in settings to change it from 4K to standard 1080? Is there any way to increase buffering time in the settings? We can't find anything......

Help or the box is going to become a paper weight....lol

I’ve found that if I see any substantial buffering it’s always on the limitless app.
Super tv and super VOD pretty much never buffer.

I've found that Super TV has a tendency to freeze up and / or suddenly display a "Down fo maintenance " notice. Sometimes I can change the channel away and then back and broadcast resumes. Other times not. Don't know if any of that is Uverse related.

I’ve seen that as well, but not for a long time now.
Super TV is my go to, but I will say that the Nat-Geo scheduling is always bizarrely off. lol
Like it makes zero sense.
The annoying subtitles on some super VOD stuff seems less bothersome, or not present, on limitless.

But still, it’s been 13 months now and that’s $2,538.00 that stayed in my pocket instead of handing to DTV, with literally thousands of more viewing options than I used to have.
I’ll deal with the little glitches!👍👍😎
My buddy runs 2 boxes off his new starlink in his newly built home in Whitman. His run about the same as mine do.
I’m in Mohave with with Optimum.
As soon as they Jack me up on the introductory rate I’ll probably switch to tri-state.
I’ve got a one gig plan but my download test doesn’t come anywhere near that.

First chance I can get away from Uverse I'm gone. Options now are Spectrum ( been hearing complaints about internet), Verizon 5G (nearby but still not here) and Starlink. Problem is I'm surrounded by tall oaks and maples so leary about reception. Dunno.

Sounds like your issue is much more pronounced?
I haven’t seen any glitch in weeks…maybe months?
It’s a dumb question, but have you tried resetting your router?
I have like 8 devices on my network. Every now and then I reset the router to kind of put everything back in order.

The way Elon's putting up satellites, you may have one straight above you 🤣

I have a horrible provider out here, a wireless ISP that was bought out last year I think by a bigger group. I would like to switch to Starlink, but it's a bit more money than we should spend. I know 2 people with it out in the sticks...way out...and it's great for them.

My router is my phone. I reset the TV, box, phone computer and it is still getting progressively worse. Along with the beer intake ;)

It’s why I rarely drink beer.
I’ve found whiskey is the solution to most of these problems!
Well...I try not to talk about the other alcohol that may or not be involved. Lol

I forgot you’re hotspotted.
A few weeks ago my internet was down for part of a day for some bullshit.
I hotspotted with like 3 bars LTE and did fine.
(ATT iPhone)
I don’t know if Optimum throttles my data on busy times or not, in the past any time I had any buffering was was on weekends it seemed?
I don’t know why, but mine has actually gotten much better over time.

It could be your phone in some cases. Mine has an attitude when communicating with some things and not others. I can restart it, and things will go better for a bit, but randomly it will slow down or disconnect.

Do you think it has something to do with server size? I’m sure Netflix has dozens/hundreds of huge servers to accommodate their traffic. I have Starlink and Limitless is garbage and buffers or outright quits streaming for me, but SuperVOD works flawlessly. I think that has to do with SL dropping connection for a split second when it’s between sats.

What I really hate about the new boxes is the limited apps. The old KODI builds had multiple apps you could jump around on and find good streams. Add a Realdebrid subscription and buffering was nonexistent.

I would think thats a possibility for sure but it is also probable they lease their servers.....
