I know everything is closed now but is anyone looking ahead two, three, six....months from now and booking any vacations? I booked a 12 day Maui stay in July. Free cancellation until the day of trip so nothing to lose. It was an amazing deal as well. Figure if you're going to have to quarantine somewhere, might as well be on the beach. I don't really care of the restaurants are closed. We can pick up food and eat in the lanai.

My buddy and his girlfriend just went a couple weeks ago the "14 day" quarantine was in effect then also and he said nobody said, nor mentioned anything. His only complaint was not being able to go to restaurants. And $80 worth of food at the store cost him $200..lol

We just canceled our trip to Maui and Oahu that was in a few weeks. It was all on points and timeshare trades. Hawaiian Airlines was only giving back flight credit and not points, so hopefully they don't go BK. All other resevervations credited.

We moved our dive trip out to the end of August but I doubt that will take place the way things are going. I’ve written off the cost mentally.

I'm not sure I even have the desire to go until the globe is 100% done with this BS and a vaccine is in full circulation.

... Got about 10 more chairs in the garage so come on down...That fig was planted sometime before 1950 possibly as early as 1944..,that and two lemon trees are the survivors...the grape arbor...a plum tree an orange and 2 more lemon trees checked out over the years...

The state has claimed that they are going to keep hawaii closed until May 31st. Personally we have cancelled two trips so far. We are going to plan a trip out of here in the middle of May. If we they don’t open things up at the end of the month we will hang out on the mainland until it is.

We had 4 visitors planned for travel to Hawaii That have cancelled.

For all of you thinking about coming here and skipping the quarantine you might get away with it.....

Just a FYI They did pick up one visitor and shipped her back from where she came When they found that she was not where she said she would be 4 days ago.

I was able to get a travel voucher from Hawaiian due to the drop in air fare, I was surprised about that, got back $550 (minus service fee).. I should be in Cabo today, finishing the NORRA 1000 off road race. However, I’m not. I’m still in the fart sack with a stage three hangover. Our team got together last night to commiserate about not being there, and drank a bottle of tequila that we got two years ago when we raced this race. This years race was postponed until October. Hopefully we will be able to go, and we will get another bottle of tequila for competing!

Where do you dive? Wife and I are new to scuba with 4 lake dives total. Was supposed to be in the BVI diving but now we are looking for ideas. Traveling out of AZ. Next planned dives are Laguna Coves in July....

All I will say is I'm having some trouble with my crews over in hawaii, not so much them directly but things that are going on. Lets just say the locals aren't taking too kindly to visitors showing up over there at the moment, and in some occasions things have gotten heated and even physical resulting in cops called. I know right now we are in the middle of it all and things hopefully have changed by your trip, but its something else to check out before you go and make sure that not only have restrictions been lifted but locals have cooled off towards visitors.

Nothing booked, but we were hoping to get to UK & Spain again. Sitting on a plane for 10+ hours always sucks, but with this bug floating around, it really gives me the heebie jeebies.
