So the PET shows more "nodules" on here lungs as well.
Oncologist has ordered lymph node excise for Tuesday for biopsy. Results will take about 5 days.
They aren't saying it is more Cancer yet, but are "suspicious" due to history of cancer.

So more waiting, that is the worst part.

I get lost for words, that's a difficult situation.

Cancer was very rare in my family, now out of the blue we have had many family members come down with cancer.
My niece just had a brain tumor removed, luckily they got all of it and she is recovered. Hopefully not to return.

Lets hope all news is good.

She is in good spirits, occasional tears, but she has always been strong as hell and doesn't subscribe much to self pity.
Having a good today, watching movies and chilling.

Inlaws will be here Monday so we have a couple days to relax and hug it out.

She is floored by the support here. TPC, She read your posts and your story is front and center in her mind.
It has really changed her attitude and erased many doubts and fears.

Quick update.

So she finally had a liver biopsy today. They took a core and will know results next week.

The oncologist had ordered a lymph node excise 2 weeks ago, but our original breast surgeon and the surgeon tasked with the lymph removal argued against it due to the location of the node. It's buried in a nerve bundle on left clavicle. They all finally agreed that a successful liver biopsy would tell the tale, and if not conclusive then they will excise and biopsy the lymph node.

The surgeons are the ones we have faith in here. The original breast surgeon is not actually involved here, but his patient commitment is second to none and he insists on keeping updated on Debs conditions. He is the one that has and continues to guide us in this long process.

When the results are in we will make the decision, if necessary, on treatment options.
If Cancer again the GP and the surgeon are standing by to refer us to one of the research hospitals in SoCal.

Thanks for the prayers and well wishes, and thanks again for the contact information!

On a side note: Never Ever get sick during the Christmas Holidays... Getting anything done is next to impossible.

No kidding about the holiday thing. It slowed them down from getting my treatment started a year ago. I go in Monday morning for a scan myself to check on things. I'm so excited about it. Lol
