I hear you. Not so sure they weren't on to this guy and moving in which would explain his missed shots. I wasn't there and I'm assuming nobody replying here was either, but It sounds like they got info and just didn't make it in time to stop the shooting.

I thought that too, but watched the clip a few times and he appeared to say "Fight" three times. It's in the NY Times video I posted on page 3.

The first video I heard I thought maybe it could have been. Kinda made since that he wasn’t dead.

Then I watched a different video and the sound was completely different and that was definitely no fucking paintball gun.

Audio was way different between the 2.

Trump ducked. That and a near miss by the shooter saved his life. The shooter didn’t get a clear second shot. When shooting started the SS seemed to do pretty well. But, if the cameras were able to get a clear view of Trump when he stood up, so could have another shooter. Take off their friggin’ coats and screen ‘their client’ from view. It now appears the shots were fired from a nearby elevated position. WTF? It would seem nearby elevated positions would have been previously secured/neutralized by the SS. Or in the least, very well watched over. I would assume SS is going to spend even more hours going over this . . . . than we do here at RDP. Thank God for this outcome. But, the family and friends of the victim(s) likely do not feel that way.

Fortunately, an ambulance wasn’t needed. Appears there were none at the scene. Seems that would be a few prudently spent $$.

I saw an ambulance drive away. I think it was behind the beast but not sure.

I paused the video just as they pulled Trump up off the ground. It sure looks like he is saying "F". On another point, the reason I paused was that I recognized someone in the audience directly behind the podium. The guy is named Vincent Fusco. He looks kind of goofy like Where's Waldo. He was a regular at Trump rally's back in 2016

How does anyone under a 1000 yards away not come under observation especially on a roof?

Yeah someone fucked up real bad somewhere. The snipers posted behind him failed... You can see them duck when the shots rang out. No idea how they didn't see a guy laying on roof top with all the available types of security we have these days. Drones were brought up and I would have assumed prior to this that they were in use. 🤷‍♂️

Trump doesn’t have ‘the beast’. That’s for the President only. Believe Trump, being only a nominee, provides his own transportation. RNC may also chip in some $$. I did NOT see an ambulance. Perhaps I missed that.

A 300 yard perimeter seems way too small. You don’t need much training to hit a person at that distance. I wonder if his detail is small because he’s not a sitting president.

I’m just waiting for the shitheads to deflect this and turn it into a 2nd amendment issue.

300yds is a pretty easy shot with 223 in an AR platform, I shoot a 10" group at 650ish yards with my 270
