Grew up in the city, yes...but driven through just about every state. Lots to see between where I was born, and where I went. It scares the hell out of me to fly places...something about not being able to get back home. If I'm on the ground...wheels, hoofs or feet can get me closer. I'm a strong swimmer, but I honestly have no clue how far those islands are from Florida

Its 2-1/4" wide, has 3 little flats on the face getting progressively thinner.

Looks good sir. When I bought my crappy little double wide it had orange shag carpet. When looking at places, my kids referred to it as "the Cheeto House". First weekend after escrow closed, went and bought a half skid of a lighter color vinyl plank. I tore out the carpet and a metric shit ton of staples. Whole thing, one end to the other. Water proof and pretty durable. Best thing I did out there yet

There was a pretty good rain storm in havasu last night/early this morning.
Kinda crazy how hard it rained.
I got rattled outta bed around 3am and had rain coming in the bedroom window.

Theres gravel all over the roads from people's yards, and wherever a "wash" crosses a street that's a mess too.
Street sweepers will be busy for quite a while.

Theres no other smell in the world like the desert after a rain.

I kinda missed it.

I've got 2 doors left to hang, but the rooms need to be painted, and the flooring installed.

Reveals came out ok.

Really want to get the shower tile done before we toss the vinyl floor in. I dont want to trap the flooring under the tile on the face of the curb. After the tiles done, then the floor, then the door.....

No biggie. I'll hang that one in December when I come back to hang the cabinets.

Naw, just have to drive like a complete idiot and get in the way of the locals... lol... my long term plan is to have a small place up in North Iowa for summers and holidays, and to let my Old Man stay close to family, and keep home base here in Peoria...

Yer talking to someone who did 12 years there... the whole state is stuck to the bottom of a long straw back to Colorado. One reason we disembarked to the mid-west is I didn't want to worry about water. But 70* in January makes it worth it... sometimes.
