Looks like we lost Musgrove for the rest of the season and maybe next season as well if he needs TJ surgery. That's a big blow to our rotation but should be a good series.
I read that today. I don’t understand why there is so many TJ injuries?.

I bleed blue and always have. WS titles or not, it's ridiculous to think of them as a shitty team that has not accomplished anything. I have not been of Fan Roberts management style in the playoffs, with the gutted pitching staff this year it will get interesting to see what crazy stuff he pulls this season.

All that said, I don't like the padres, I don't like Machado or Tatis, but they are insanely good. I do like a handful of their players. I am just not into the Fu** your team or Fu*** that team stuff, we need teams to like and not like or it wouldn't be exciting to watch anymore. What the padres have turned there organization into over the last few seasons is legit, like them or not. I am hoping for a great series and pulling out the win, but it could go either way. If Yamamto and Flaherty can pull of solid starts and go about 6 innings then we are set up well to pull it out, if they flop and go the bull pen early its going to get ugly past after the first 2 games, the BP is very good but they will be needed most likely heavily in game 3 or 4 so if we go to them early on in game 1 and 2 they will be taxed. Will see how it goes.

Fu** the Astros though lol. They earned the F bomb.
Well said!

Not sure. I know Musgrove had bone spurs and was told he was risking UCL damage if he continued to pitch before surgery. He decided to tough it out and apparently damaged his UCL.

It's because everybody is chasing velocity now. There used to be a couple of guys that could touch 100 mph, now it seems like every team has a handful of guys that throw 100. Very few real pitchers in the game anymore, mostly just throwers

Don’t pull a hamstring! I hung it up after trying to beat out an infield single. Never pulled a hamstring before. Lol

Serious question here.... does Dodger stadium not have the ability to play regular music, or do y'all love that fukkin organ music that much? Laaaame.

Serious question, why the hate on Machado? Cause he isn't a dodger any more?
We were glad to get rid of him. For what ever reason is never bought into being a dodger and put super low effort in. Got called out for not running out infield grounders in tight situations and his response was I'm not going to be Johnny hustle out there and blew it off like an ass.

I've seen the low effort on padres. But better now than it was for sure.

Flaherty getting mouthy was a bad idea. Going into petco the pads thrive on that crap

His actions and behavior while playing the game. He used to play pretty dirty. And in my defense I never liked him as a Dodger either. Not a fan.

I hated it when the Dodgers picked him up, I’m so glad it didn’t last. No doubt he is really talented. But he is a dirty player, lazy as fuck, not a team player, all about himself. But other than that I guess he’s ok.

I have never liked Machado but his post game interview was great.

Looking forward to game 3. Fuck the Doyers.

Dodgers suck , flaherty wants no part of Machado
Did you watch the game? Flaherty struck Machado out twice and also got him to hit into a double play. Flaherty wanted more of Machado. It was the rest of the Padres the Dodgers pitchers couldn’t get out.

Went 0-3 with a strike out and two pop outs. I did have a sweet grab on left field that I’m surprised I caught. Running over the shoulder grab but had to hit the brakes. Caught it and rolled it out. I think I have the pop outs on video but I have to go through the whole game. My mom got me striking out so that’s cool 😂

Honestly other than the piece of shit fans which is part of the charm  of dodger stadium, I like the competitive play. Keeps it interesting.

I had Dodger season tickets for 10 years and didn't renew it after 2018. Just wasn't worth the drive and wondering if you're going to get stabbed or not lol. I'll just watch from home.

Flaherty kept us in the game. I'd prefer not to give up homers to Tatis, left an 0-1 fastball over the meat of the plate. He had Profar in a 2-2 count and walked him. Struggled with his command early. Then gave up a 2 run shot in the second. Settled in after that.

Darvish had our number from about the 5th inning on. Some great defensive plays by the Padres kept us from extending innings and scoring runs.

Hopefully Buehler dominates tomorrow, he kind of has too. Betts better start getting hits, He's 0-22 in the post season I think, Profar robbed that homer in the 1st, but even then he hasn't done much. Why that fan didn't have a glove to catch it in the outfield is beyond me! Great play by Profar. Padres are talented.

Agreed. It's hard you can't bench mookie but at what point do you have to, the numbers are horrible and you dont get another shot. Even if Freddy plays Tuesday, they brought Kiki and he made instant solid contact missing the HR by feet and he's got a history of october greatness. Even Pages was hitting well going into October.

Yup, he just missed that homer. I think Kike needs to be in the lineup, he’s the spark we need. He’s been hitting well since he got new glasses.

Muncy hit the ball hard last night.

Rest Freeman, maybe he has a Kirk Gibson moment as a Pinch hitter this series.

Stay classy SD. Don't throw shit on the field.
Unfortunately I think the place is going to be madness and it's gonna happen.

it will be crazy. A lot of teams have shitty fans especially in October when the fair weather fans come out and drink to much at the game. I dont see the dodgers players doing much to antagonize the fans though but the interaction with Flaherty and Machado is not going to go well either. Will see.

I don’t love Muncy either. But he has to hit well for us to have a chance.

That has always been my issue with him, just can't hit in situations, just always going for the long ball and leaves guys on in scoring positions with no movement. But when he's on he's a game changer. But the big names at the top have to get on.
