Same thing happened to my wife about a month ago. She was on hold long enough to drive down there and walked in while still on hold..Said, "wow you guys look pretty busy." Kidding of course since nobody was in there. At least we got some free wings out of it

Found a very good New York style pizza right here in Mesa, AZ at a place called "Red, White & Brew"

One of the closest to New York pizza I've found in the Western US of A.

If you've eaten pizza in the New York metropolitan area you know what I'm talking about - thin, CRISP crust, delicious sauce with melted cheese and the right ingredients. If you've had a pie there you know what it's all about.

NY style pizza is about as difficult to find as a great bagel here in the West. "Bagels" out here are round bread rolls or bread-nuts (as in donuts)

Pizza should only be eaten with a cigarette in one hand, an icy cold beer in a mug with a pitcher to keep it topped off and good friends telling stories that start with, "shut the fuck up and listen to this".

DRYHEAT, Grads and Bobby are pretty lonely on my fuck off list. ;)

:D
This statement is somewhat troubling to me, are you saying I have parity with grad’s and BobbyV?:(

Am I understanding this right or did I bake my brain out on the lake today?
I must be delirious. I’m going to go walk my dogs and contemplate life’s bigger meanings.

I’m sure your dogs will enjoy the walk, mine always does.
Don’t be troubled.
I’m just somewhat triggered by coping with the fact I’m not getting any younger. Triggered :D

When we lived in GA, we had a restaurant just around the corner owned and run by 2 brothers from NYC. We moved about 10 miles out near Lake Lanier and were feeling sad 'cause our pizza fix was now a bit of a drive......Well the brothers had a falling out and Kenny who was the chef, opened a new place closer to us than the first place was at our old home.

Kenny made true NY pizza like no other.

Actually Atlanta has many great pizza restaurants with all the folks there from the northeast and Midwest. Lots of pizza by the slice for great lunches. The garbage chains like Dominoes do not do well in metro Atlanta.

We frequent a Russo's New York Style Pizza restaurant locally. It's a chain, but a great one Wood fired ovens. Great pies, salads and pastas. Reasonable prices and cold brew.

Maybe they'll expand out y'all's way.....:D

On the Traeger. 30 minutes start to finish. Cut that nearly in half if you use a boboli crust.

Looks good Tommy,
I pretty much use Italian sausage where I used hamburger at one time, love that stuff.
I bought one of these for the GMG and it is badass, we do personal pan pizza nights with friends and neighbors, 1 to 2 minutes each.

Used to love Red, white and brew...just not what I used to be at all.

Try pizzeria bianco next to Chase field. Incredible wood fired pizza.
