14 . . . Jeezuz . . . says a lot about todays world.Shooter is 14 years old
Santana shooting in Santee? If so, the 23 year anniversary was March 5. 17 days later a kid opened fire at Granite Hills High school in El Cajon. I remember both days vividly…happened to be working OT both of those days on my depts Medic Rescue unit and was dispatched to both incidents from San Diego City.My daughter was at the Santa shooting watched a friend get shot. Its the 20 year anniversary since that happened and the shooter is up for parole
My house was a few blocks from Granite Hills. I went to middle school w/ the shooter. The guy was very off from a young age.Santana shooting in Santee? Crazy!!! Luckily Granite Hills had a Campus Police officer at the ready. Could have been a lot worse if it wasn’t for Officer Agundez. My house was a few blocks from Granite Hills. I went to middle school w/ the shooter. The guy was very off from a young age.

We had 2 Incidents last year with HS kids with guns, one showed up to a HS football game that we were at but couldn't get in and was caught about an hour later. They didn't get the guns from home, they purchased them from a guy that was importing them from Mexico.I hate these incidents. Just shows no one can solve the problem by going after how these kids are getting ahold of guns. They should start by charging the parents as accessories for letting the kid have access to the gun in the first place.
Lock the damn things up. Otherwise it’s more Democrat attacks against our 2nd amendment.
Then prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law as adults for premeditated crimes. We had 2 Incidents last year with HS kids with guns, one showed up to a HS football game that we were at but couldn't get in and was caught about an hour later. Our DA here in Ventura isn't afraid to prosecuteThen prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law as adults for premeditated crimes.
Does it really matter that they are charged as an adult? Obviously that will mean more prison time, life sentence, or death penalty but will any of that make a difference? I can’t even begin to try and get into the heads of kids or people who do these horrific acts but do you really think they care what happens to them after this point? Kid or adult they should all get the death penalty in my opinion. People will say we have mental health problems in this world and I agree but it’s all just bullshit. You can’t tell me that a parent, relative, friend, or even one teacher didn’t know that this kid had issues and needed help or meds or whatever people like this need. Parents should always be charged along with the kids. 1 for not seeing the signs that their child has issues and 2 for the complete negligence of allowing the kid to have any access to guns. My kids are very young and probably couldn’t even pull a trigger but every gun I own is locked in a safe and unloadedThey released the kids name, “Colt Gray” and he will charged as an adult.

No idea.
No idea.
I wonder how big that list is.Being reported on the news that he was on Fed’s radar for at least a year. If true, shame on all the three character agencies that knew and did nothing.
What kind of 13 year old child is under investigation by federal criminal agencies? Geesus! Devil spawn!
"It's a GUN problem, DUH!"Being reported on the news that he was on Fed’s radar for at least a year. If true, shame on all the three character agencies that knew and did nothing.
Apparently, they went to check him out because he had threatened to do exactly what he did. That’s a good question
So have their parents.I truly believe that young kids have become(to a point) numb to death with the plethora of video games that are all about killing.
Where's the reset button?
I am almost 50 too. I don’t think our generation was spoiled. We are the Gen X group…most our generation were latch key kids…”fend for yourself” types. Because of that, when we had kids of our own, we spoiled them, so they didn’t have to go through what we did. Ends up this was a huge disservice to them and our country. So, I agree with you, we ruined the world. So have their parents.
I feel so horrible, I am almost 50, I feel like it is my generation that has ruined the world. My age group was spoiled and had no problems, my peers taught their kids the same and we are dealing with it now.
Another cause I believe......Credit debt, it took a big leap forward in the 70s. Prior to then most debt was for essential items, homes mostly. Households with credit cards were a very low percentage of the population But as credit cards became easily obtained and spending accelerated so did prices of everything and the need for a dual income became the standard.I am almost 50 too. CENTEGIX - A CNN report today indicates the GA school, one week ago, was provided with a notification system called “Centegix”. The report said Centegix was given to each teacher (also administrators ?). It is apparently a credit card size device which can be activated to report a situation to the authorities. It also provides the exact location of that credit card sending the alert. I hope there is more information forthcoming about this system. I looked up “Centegix” on the internet. It does exist. I’m not sure how it is owned (publicly traded?) and who owns it. It does sound interesting. Curious if other inmates may have heard of it?
Thanks. Certainly looks like this Centegix system could have some amazing potential.CENTEGIX CrisisAlert Enables Rapid Response to Safety and Security Incidents

Yeah I just sent that to our Emergency Operations Manager, I figure he’s being asked to evaluate something that could help us better deal with any potential incidents. So he can add it to the list. If it helped Georgia, then there’s a valid statistic in its favor.Thanks. Certainly looks like this Centegix system could have some amazing potential.
Sounds like a locator card to help find the dead bodies. You have 1 minute to left to live. Thank god police are 5 minutes away.CENTEGIX - A CNN report today indicates the GA school, one week ago, was provided with a notification system called “Centegix”. Assume you realize, this locator card provides vital information to the responding ‘5 minutes away’ police you mentioned?Sounds like a locator card to help find the dead bodies. You have 1 minute to left to live. Thank god police are 5 minutes away.
