Well, pictures of a few things are out. Like the fact it wasn't the main building, which would have been a big/easy target with more collateral damage. The "Russian Missile" in the pics on decent wasn't a cruise missile, no wings, and the shrapnel found looks like an parts of an air defense missile...much like a Patriot missile system would launch.

Makes sense, since one of the targets was a Patriot battery adjacent to a manufacturing plant. The plant itself and the substation near by. Couple of videos showing two huge plumes in the city.

They could've targeted the hospital, but I can't see them using a smaller bomb than other stuff. They also sent cruise missiles from the east the other day. They made a left sweeper over Kiev towards Odessa areas.

While we've been glued to our TV's here, weird stuff in Kiev. First off, a "retired" USAF General was there for undisclosed reasons. He was found dead in his hotel room, and no one is saying anything about a cause. He was there for 10 days, rumors are abound...but may have just "died suddenly"

The big one though, a lady from the "rada", their congress, has been relieved of office. She has been an opponent of the military leadership, but was also in charge of their council on civilian duties.
The kicker though, her name popped up on the Myrovets kill list today. Myrovets is a site based in Langley, that lists people the Ukraine army wants gone. At least she's not a US citizen, like others on the list.

I can't help but think Russia (with the help of others like the Chinese) are doing to us what the Taliban did for 20 years.....drain us dry until we just give up and are another 20 trillion in debt.
We're doing it to ourselves. Russia rolled into Afghanistan, we backed the fighters to break Russia. I feel it's the same, but our economy is failing and I think theirs is growing. The timing of the war machine is off.

Something that is also going to take a toll on us is this, the Houthis have sunk 3 tankers in the past week. No big fanfare about the eco disaster, not the cost of oil increasing.

Hey now, Ukraine had their own assassination last week. Iryna Farion was shot in the head as she walked out of her house. She was 60 years old. Most won't even know her name, but she was in the Ukraine government as kind of a leader of the Far Right party...which seems different then our right. She called for punishment of all Russians. She went so far as telling school children it was ok to beat up the Russian kids. She did this on television, in a classroom...she was a real bringer of peace. She was high up in the ranks of those who organized the trade hall massacre, and riots in 2014. She's been seen paling around with Nuland. She got offed by a pro, and of course they have blamed Russia. Lviv local police aren't blaming them yet, but have stated that they aren't ruling out locals. Sounds like others may not have liked her either. I kind of wonder what she knew, and if she was going to talk. She was a lead in the coup, that was mostly funded by Obama's administration.

Side note, I looked up how much a conscripted soldier makes in Ukraine. 3,000 Hryvnia a day when in the trenches or otherwise on the front. Once pulled from the front, 1,000 per day. That works out to 72$ when being shot at, or 24$ the rest of the time.

Today the Ukrainians made a heavy push towards the border area of the Russian Kursk region. They took a few outpost on the way, and have film of Russian prisoners(soldiers). Apparently word got out, and when they approached the border on the highway, there was a large group waiting in the tree lines. It doesn't sound as if they made it far into the border area. This was a larger, more complex attack though.

Yesterday, videos were everywhere of the F16's Ukraine finally got. Two were spotted in the air over Kiev, as well as in the west part of the country. More like a publicity tour, to raise morale.

If that amount of corruption is true, (and I'm not saying it is or isn't), how are they going to hide that much money? Especially from the IRS. They have to declare it. Does Bob Menendez ring a bell? And he tried hiding a small fraction of that and got caught, up to 222 YEARS worth of "caught" in fact.

Most of the money goes to their reelection donations, then the politicians has become skilled at funneling it into family members pockets. Over inflated services family members preform for the politicians if set up correctly all purchases can become business expenses

when Ukraine receives that $$$$$ all bets are off. Ukraine can pay whoever and however they want.

Cash, thru 501c, offshore..etc

Those are not the only politicians on the take.... most likely whoever backs Ukraine is on the take.

You do realize Bidens kid worked in Ukraine at a Gas company?

Ukraine = Money Laundering

Especially from the IRS.
You do realize that the IRS is and always has been an illegitimate and corrupt entity that does the bidding of the Deep State government, right?
See Lois Lerner and the weaponization of the IRS by Maobama's regime for starters.
Does Bob Menendez ring a bell?
Menendez outlived is usefulness and became dead weight and bad optics for the Demoncrap party. He was tossed overboard as a sacrifice to show the sheep that they actually did something that could be construed as fighting corruption.

Two words

β€œClinton foundation”

But seriously, it’s stunningly naive to think these people are beholding to the irs. Lol
They own the irs. It’s their collection agency.
To them it isn’t corruption or crime.
They 100% do not see it as such…to them it’s just the way business is done.
It’s only β€œbad” through our eyes.

Zelensky reminds me of the little piss ant pushing his finger in your chest while his 6'8" 280LB brother is standing right behind him.
Currently our administration reminds me of those ghetto moms that drive their kid to the bus stop to fight a kid...

Ukraine GUR has been pushing how great their last offensive has been going. This was timed with the arrival of the F16's. They claim their "special forces" led the attack. That translates to mercenaries and foreign troops guided by US intelligence. The area they chose was smart, had been a loosely guarded area, no heavy fighting. The guys posted there aren't exactly liked by all Russians, and hated by Ukrainians, Chechens. What's being said by the western media is Russia has called up reinforcements. This is a partial truth, as they have pulled Russian troops from either side to that front. This weakens them on those other fronts. If Ukraine had the manpower, now would be the time for a full press.

With our troops being deployed to the Middle East, I don't know if there is the stomach to also deploy to Ukraine. If Ukraine strikes Moscow, I don't think they would strike the US. I think they would strike Kiev hard, and not the way they have been. I believe Russia would just continue to back Iran, though possibly a bit more. Basically, act like there equipment wasn't intended to use against anyone other than Israel, Just like the US says ours isn't supposed to be used directly on Russia.

Russia is just playing war games. Using up old munitions. Testing strategies. If Russia went al out the Ukraine would look like the surface of Mars.
Russia could line up 5 Tank divisions and 10 Infantry/mechanized division and roll over the Ukraine faster than Germany did Poland at the start of WW2.

The restraint that Russia displays is quite amazing in light of everything that is and has happened so far.
Almost like a calm sense of knowing and a methodical plan being carried out.

In the grand scheme of things, he's just a low level player, a well paid pawn. 5M is a lot of money to normal people, a massive number really.

Think about the money being thrown around, and how much the major players authorizing the fleecing must be taking.

Vlad the Putnik needs an out. Wouldn't be a bit surprised if Trump offers to deny Ukraine NATO membership and Putnik accepts that and withdraws.

But if not,, then it's Trumps war. Just like after 24 months in office Viet Nam became Nixon's war.

If Russia wins it'll be carnage on a horrific scale so bad we'll never see a GOP POTUS in any of your lifetimes. The blood will forever be on the GOPs hands.

It will forever be blood on the GOP hands because Americans are too stupid to realize that Obama started this. They see the blood spilt in the past 2 years, and neglect to see the entirety of the past 10.

Even intelligent people, such as yourself, took time to actually see the corruption at play within Ukraine. Some people are so blinded by hate for the Russians, they fail to see the other things at play.

Just because there is a R after their name means nothing. There are numerous GOP members manking bank on the weapons and misery it brings. They care not. An example would be the former only true conservative on this forum.

It's really quite sad. Politicians mostly claim they know the horrors of violence, be it in cities here or battlefields abroad. Some, but very few, have actually witnessed it. Of those, some seem to be corrupted by promise of wealth and power.

I've never been in the position to be tempted by such things. Pretty sure most of us haven't. I cannot attest to what it would take to refrain. The blood on my hands is my own these days. Maybe, hopefully, it will wash away the stains from my past. There comes a time we all face judgment. Cheering for war and death to fellow men, seems a path to damnation.

I'm just a simpleton though. I just want to live my life and support those close to me. The world seems to be closing in though, and people will be shocked and terrified when the horrors they cheer for, come yet closer.

Although this is true, Ukraine doesn't have the tools or pilots to do so. Every guided missile launched toward Kiev or Odessa has been launched from an aircraft in Ukrainian airspace. The only way the air space may be controlled will be if the US steps in. The Britts, really the entirety of the EU, could not do it without American backing, both through technology and the skilled assets to fly them.

When the B2's were moved into Qatar last week, it may not have been saber rattling for the Iranians. Two or three of those could launch missiles from over Russian controlled airspace, with much better success, and still have the attack blamed on Ukrainian troops. I don't know what phase the moon is in, but dark skies and low level approach can reshape tomorrow pretty quick.

Contested airspace and add in drones that can kill armor. That's a bad place for armor divisions to be operating in. Just making the point than lining up tank divisions and trying to take terrain is a losing strategy on this battlefield.

I hope if Trump wins, he does deny Ukraine NATO membership.......just as the US agreed to in the 90's. I don't know who in their right mind would get in bed with the US government, just ask Saddam, Mubarak, Khadafi, the list goes on.

Anyone know what else is in the Kursk region that may be of value? Winter is coming, and this will also screw the EU again. Just a little C&P from another point of view:

"The most likely task of the enemy is the capture (in this part the task has already been completed) and retention of the station with subsequent undermining during the retreat. The Western media will likely accuse the Russian side of the undermining. There will be enough formal arguments to accuse Russian suppliers of disrupting gas supplies to the EU before the winter season."

Weird how the Iranian missiles are a big deal in media now. They've been supplying drones and missiles for quite awhile. While we've made big news of stopping shipments to terror countries in the middle east, seems they never noticed these shipments? I find that hard to believe. They have also used a lot of Chinese supplied weapons as well, yet the administration can't bark at Pooh Bear.

As of yesterday, the incursion was 12-14 kilometers into Russian territory, a swath about 6 kilometers wide, branching off a more rural type highway, and taking about 5 or 6 small towns/villages. Mostly small arms and tank fire from the Ukraine side, but also some heavy artillery and rockets from the rear. It doesn't seem as though they were given all the supplies needed though, as they've been very vulnerable to air response by the KA-52's. No fast movers from either side, so I assume the front is a very fluid situation.
