That’s wild. I was there over the weekend. Place is nice, drinks are good, food is good. Just get there early or you will have to get lucky to find a spot for your boat.

going to have to work with the new owners to get it reinstated.

Billdo is barely a memory anymore...it's now William with an occasional Bill thrown in. Billdo shows up once in a blue moon, then you get William for quite a while.

Fun fact. I saw pain killers on the menu which is a bvi drink. Asked the bartender for a couple and explained we got back from the bvi recently and am pumped Rr has them.

The owners wife overheard me and explained they remodeled the bar after saba rock in the bvi.

Who bought and remodeled it ? Went this passed Sat. What a dump ! They got tiled bathrooms , makes me want to comfortably take a dump. They didn’t even have the OG cockroaches running around , those were snacks for some of us. The floating bar doesn’t even bounce up and down , and have water flood in and cool are feet.

I never knew really understood what he was getting at because the bathrooms at Echo Lodge were of the same quality back in the day. Beyond disgusting.

Mid summer and you had to use the campground bathrooms at echo because we couldn’t make it back to the river pad in time.

Hottest, steamiest, nastiest environment in those bathrooms and always full of mosquitos. The fluorescent light bulbs were this nasty yellow light color and they were caked with insects.

I forgot about those bathrooms. Thanks for the memories lol

I have a thread with a bunch of childhood pictures and most are at Echo Lodge. I'll see if I can dig that up when I get done working.

I may have a few years on you however I may have come across you at some point.

We were all on the A Row near the exit and several are still there. When my parents divorced I was 10 I think. My mom retained the trailer that was kept in the back out by Echo's Dump. She had no way of moving it so thats when my Echo Days slowed way down. Waiting for my Dad and my step mom to travel back. My step mother did not like the motorhome scene much so we started going to Laughlin and would stay in the casino's. Thats how I came to know Lake Mojave and the river below Davis Dam.
