I'd love to be wrong here, but.......the fine print on prop 36 says a person can be prosecuted for stealing more than $950 IF they have 2 prior convictions for stealing over $950.
So you can still steal $949 every day and not be prosecuted......
Sadly, I don't see prop 36 helping at all.

No. You misread.

It basically brings back the old 666pc where upon your third theft (even under 950) you can be charged with a felony.

It has many really good enhancement and reclassifications that are a HUGE step in the right direction.

“Additionally, the initiative increased penalties for certain theft crimes. For crimes involving stolen money or property worth $950 or less, the initiative made the crime punishable as a felony for individuals with two or more prior theft-related convictions, with a punishment of up to three years in jail or prison, depending on their criminal history. Previously, this offense was punishable by up to six months in jail. The initiative also increased sentences based on the amount of property stolen.[1]”

It’s specifically targeting career criminals and habitual thieves.

The way I read it it was 2 prior theft convictions. I didn't see the amount of those prior convictions. It also criminalizes drugs in certain circumstances. It isn't perfect, but it is a start.

Georgia and Pennsylvania will be called for Trump in minutes. Both are at 90% with a sizeable lead. That leaves him five short.

He's up 6.3% in Michigan with 60% reporting, and 4.2% in Wisconsin with 85% reporting.

Trump team threatened to sue PA a few hours ago because they were going to stop counting for the night and they agreed to keep counting. The ground game by the GOP headed by Lara Trump has been a game changer.

Why the hell is Michigan only 59% reported & Minnesota 63%? Is there a reason they can't vote like the rest of the world? Maybe there's a logical explanation. If so I'm game.

Again, it states 2 prior CONVICTIONS. I'm glad to be wrong here, however you didn't address the one CRITICAL component....someone has to press charges. Take any drug addict on the street, they are violating a dozen laws on the books ranging from deficating in public, loitering, under the influence in public, trespassing, possession, the list goes on and on. Why are they not arrested or even cited? Because nobody presses charges. I would agree there will be a few jurisdictions with conservative police chiefs and DA's that will use the new law to finally prosecute some people, but I guarantee in most cities you will still be able to fill up your shopping cart and walk out the door untouched. Hell, Home Depot and Walmart fire people for even trying to stop thieves. I guess P36 is a good start, but with the current CA political climate, I still doubt it will even move the needle.

Just wait. Remember all us fuckers went to bed 4 years ago at midnight and magically there was 450 billion Biden votes counted. Don’t trust any of it until it’s real.
Oh I know, I just figured he saw some funky stats popping up somewhere.

He needs to be pastured. He’s been a liability to the network since Obama. There are much better opposing viewpoints out there available.
Yep, he went on to say that the "bro vote" is what won it for Trump. He said they like the way Trump talks down to and degrades women. He is really a POS!

Juan Williams needs to be fired. Calling Trump an insurrectionist live right now on Fox. Also saying Kamala lost because she is a black female.
I don't agree with him particularly since Trump is trending lower with whites than he has in the past and trending better with latino's and blacks, but he did not want to hear....but I like the banter as opposed to one sided stage...
