Is Sheehy of Montana related to the mayor of LHC, Cal Sheehy? Not a real common last name.

Prop 36 winning big in California. Would crack down on criminal behavior that was basically legalized with Prop 47.
I'd love to be wrong here, but.......the fine print on prop 36 says a person can be prosecuted for stealing more than $950 IF they have 2 prior convictions for stealing over $950.
So you can still steal $949 every day and not be prosecuted......
Sadly, I don't see prop 36 helping at all.

Understand…everyone has their own version of that, some are just bigger numbers.

How does a 15% Corporate tax rate sound to you?
Sounds like very large deficits. But if that is what the people want, so be it.

Prop 2 in CA for a few billion more in school bonds...?!?!?! WTF? Didn't we just get a few billion for COVID upgrades a couple years back, and we still need upgrades, and enrollment is declining...?

Shit I voted no on anything that was geared towards raising taxes. The propositions are so misleading. I took my time too

You guys are hours behind.
I am not posting stuff like that but just watching. I am having issue finding "confirmed" vs "predicted" information.

I have NPR and DecisionDesk websites up.

I voted NO on 2. We already pay enough in taxes, special assessments dor schools, and the lottery (which was supposed to save schools). I heard somewhere that much of prop 2 money will be used for wages and to prop up the pensions. Or at a minimum, the revenue will allow them to divert current school budget money to pay wages and pensions.
