I just hope whichever side loses has enough class to step aside with grace and not incite more divide in this country. The last thing we need is a Civil War. You know China and Russia are just hoping that happens!

They don't operate much on “hope”...Niether does George Soros, who has spent over $40 billion trying to incite either (or both) civil war and the “gracious” stepping aside from our freedoms.
Hitler won an election once...and Hindenburg stepped aside.

I find it hard to imagine if rioting and unrest breaks out after the election, if the liberal democratic leaders of those cities and states would try to put a quick stop to it. They haven’t in the past. So, why would they now?

See this is the ignorance of the masses who don't deal with this foolishness daily. You have no clue the burden of just foolish paperwork we are burdened with not to mention the taxes. Do you know that every year I need to answer forms advising a paperpusher in Sacramento what color I am, and what I am doing to hire those who are more suitable to work for me? Or how about you cant ask any questions about the legality of a worker to work in the US but your going to jail for hiring an illegal. Or one of my favorites, please send us your water engineers report in order to confirm that the rainwater leaving your driveway passes all water quality tests for drinking waterBTW corporate taxes are just the tip of the iceberg. Property Taxes UP, Sales Taxes UP, Fuel Taxes UP, Payroll Taxes UP, Electricity Taxes UP, Water Taxes UP, INCOME TAXES UP HealthCare Taxes UP...

Oh and FU I don't pay my fair share at over 50% and employing more that 50 people who all now have health care that I subsidize, their kids have a roof over their head, a 401k program. Those who havent owned their own business have no idea what goes through your mind as you take the call from the creditors, "How likely is Johhny to keep his job at XXXthousand/year?" in our minds this question is, hmmm I wonder what I am now on the hook for? a new car? a new home? a new engagement ring? Payroll takes on a new meaning when you realize its not just you, its those who count on you. If you have a weak quarter guess who doesnt get paid. Is it our responsibility, according to the left not really, but most of us on the right actually believe as long as the employee does his/her job they are part of our family/company and when they need help they come into your office and you probably help whether it be they cant afford this months rent, or their kid just turned 16 and can you help with the car they are trying to buy for the birthday present. FYI this is the same kid who you welcomed into the family 16 years ago so guess what, you help.

I know much easier to go to the Obama phone kiosk and have the govt pay for a handout, but thats just not the way to do it. /rant off

Is most of the paper you push related to federal regulations and permits or due to state and local regulations and permits?

Was shocked to here an analyst on the morning news today saying that with the daily current events of the campaigns he predicts that Trump will win. :thud: I had to rewind it. I NEVER thought that I hear that from the state that is willing to put up with Lazy Mazie Hirono

Curious to know if there are any significant spontaneous trump parades, rallies etc. going on in the island chain?

Trump winning Hawaii would be a massive defeat for the D party.

Amazing voter swing given HRC beat Trump in 2016 by over 30 points.

To those if you talking or thinking about where to go to get away from the Marxists, I have a message for you...

America has become fat, dumb and happy because of the unselfish sacrifices of America’s greatest generation and millions before them made to make this country great. If our founders and millions since then looked for a place to go to we wouldn’t be here today.

It is OUR RESPONSIBILITY to give of ourselves - it is OUR DUTY to...

KEEP AMERICA FREE
our founders are now considered racist and inept.....the smartest men to ever walk the face of the earth with the foresight to set our country for hundreds of years are now being torn to shreds.....i dont know how we will get it back when teachers are indoctrinating young minds....

There have been a few recently. The issue with Hawaii is that people do not express what they think. They don’t want to offend. It is the Asian way. I know that there are people fed up with the “old boy network”. I was just talking to a neighbor this morning and he is fed upwith everything going on in the world and voting Trump. But there are still people like my step mother, who grew up on a plantation that believes that the government is there to take care of the population like a plantation. She did not like the Trump pen that the wife bought me.

I guess that I need to wear my Trump t-shirt if we are allowed to have Thanksgiving. LOL

Doubt it will ever happen. Would be crazy if it did. For decades Hawaii has been dealing with the brain drain with the population. There are a lot of people who are just sheep and don’t realize with the politicians are doing to them.

It’s important to remember that besides being wickedly smart and insightful, they also were quite willing to fight for this...and they knew that a fight was coming.
Most people weren’t all that interested in fighting for this. Like today, they had everyday lives and problems and responsibilities.
These guys knew today would come. I don’t think that they knew it would be ignored until it was possibly too late.

That's why I asked the specific question related to his business. So shifting the corporate tax rate form 21% to 28 percent would be a burden, I get that. You mention regulations, which ones?

Rod you think government thieves are better off spending yore money than you yoreself are?

are you a dumb mother-ucker or what?

and guess what when all those rich guys and corporations are taxed less they spend more and reinvest into the economy...

guess what when big bad rich people make money they spend it...

guess what when they spend that money then people get work and people get yobs...

contractors get remodels, houses sell, merchandise gets bought etc...

then guess what those people with yobs spend money...

get the picture?

anyone who ignores the allegations associated with the Biden Family, and is willing to risk our Nation's future as associated with these allegations, and ignore the FACT that Joe was "openly" caught on camera laughing with a full admittance of guilt......YES! That is one dumb mother-ucker!

RIGHT, in the Climate Tension in our Country. Go knock on a stranger's door and talk Political B.S.

Tell me how that worked?

People are vandalizing property over Candidate Signs etc. People get shot over this Shit.

Imposing my Political belief by disturbing people in their home, is a line I won't cross.
I don't know where you live exactly but I have never been threatened or had a door slammed in my face. People that are not in the news are very cordial. I've made many acquaintances that I see locally and they go out of their way to say hello. I start off with local representatives and let the other side speak while I listen and then thank them for their time. I guess Zip codes matter.
The alternative is a far bigger threat IMO.

Thinking about it, it's the state that has the most ridiculous requirements regarding the environment and labor, but I wwon't let the feds off the hook either. Pulling permits for projects, fine make me pay a reasonable "tax" and then make sure I do the job right. But ask me to classify rainwater or tell me who to hire in order to meet quota, go F yourself.

My friend I get it, this is political, but as a long time advertiser in my opinion this thread belongs in the Lounge. This election is too important. Please move it back and edit if anyone gets ugly, but let the discussion continue, it is too important to our country. I am willing to potentially harm my business by speaking out and there is no question where you stand on the subject.

Move it back please, I want it seen by the masses, not just those who dwell in the political cellar. Lets keep it polite, but let the points be made.

The biggest county in Florida Miami Dade is not going the Democrats way. I believe that is a snap shot of the nation and with his Hispanic and African-American support, Trump will bury these bastards. The African Americans have not shown up in Florida and there is a massive groundswell of support in both the Latino and their communities for our President. He is changing the demographics of the GOP.

I know there was a lot of enthusiasm behind Obama in 08 and he crushed, but Trump’s crowds and enthusiasm has been if not the same, more than what Obama had. Trust your eyes and remember, good prevails over evil. 👍

Where is Tom Brown when you need him...
I miss Brown and his eloquent smiting and word smithing. If one is to get their ass handed to them, let it be a decent adversary.

Fixed and thank you to rivermobster. 👍

ooohhhhj.. pick me pick me! Lol. Are you joking?

We have a lot of farming and pork operations. This White House has not been good for farming or for pork operations as the biggest market is export for both. Same goes for specialty steel manufacturers; this administrations policies have also been harmful to their operations.

Same thing goes if one works in a business that has parts, components, assemblies or anything else in their supply chain sourced in China, like most manufacturers in the US.

I understand the argument by some that such actions by this administration are good for America long term, but that doesn’t change the fact that they are bad for those with such operations or supply chains today. And it doesn’t change the argument that these actions are not consistent with smaller government.

So at the end of the day, it just depends upon where one sits. Some argue that these moves are good. At the same time some on the other side argue making education free, especially trade education that leads to sustainable employment is good for America’s competitiveness while those that support this administration believes free trade education or any other type of higher education is too much government. That argument will continue long after we have left this planet.

This administration like all administrations has implemented policies that are good for some and bad for others. That is an objective fact. No President can implement polices that are good for everyone.

On the whole, as Austin Powers said, we will see how the majority of people come down on these policies, whether it be the electoral college for President or the popular vote for the House and Senate?

Elections are not won or lost by the base majorities but by the margins. Trump may win in a landslide. But it will not come down to those at either candidates rallies but by those not at their rallies.

I should have said of all my friends on Facebook, RD was the only guy hanging in all out there.

He’s gonna win again on Tuesday as well! Dems will try to cheat and away it’s etc will hold things up. I am predicting that even after five years of brain washing, America is smart enough to see through it and he’s still gonna dominate.

I (like I believe you are) am a true conservative and I believe in smaller government.

That said you are smart enough to know life isn’t all lollipops and rainbows.. You gotta break a few eggs to make an omelette and such.

what he did long term is good for America.. he had to renegotiate decades of shitty trade deals that puts us on a bad path.
Saying we have to suffer “today” to be prosperous tomorrow is pretty short sited.

I see it, the farmers of America see it. I am surprised you’d consider the wallet such short term given the financial Success.

Ask any farmer on rdp who they are voting for.. they will all tell ya the same thing

my biggest gripe with Trump is he has to get the deficit under control. This virus isn’t helping that
