2 weeks in a row orton has put up better numbers then brady. Kicked my self in the ass last week and im doing it again. Guess who just made there way into the line up in week 4

Bench brandon lloyd for ochocinco and look what he does only put up 26 points.

Only hope is the bears defense shuts down rogers but lets driver get me at least 10

Yeah I know. Just REALLY kills me cause Roy Williams had the great game ALSO. So having 2 bench players go off like that in one week sucks! Esp when Wes Welker AND Reggie Wayne get me less than 10 each!

Choosing your lineup is like playing the stock market.
Do you try to time it?
Or do you stick with guys/stocks with a proven track record?
That's the dilemma...sometimes you gotta take chances, but sometimes it bites you in the ass.

I have better luck with the stock market:grumble: In other league i'm always leaving best players on bench.

I was gonna talk some shit...but Miami always plays the Pats tough.
This is gonna be one of those calls like the on-side kick the Saints did to open the second half of the Superbowl. If you start Orton over Brady, you'll either be a genius...or a moron :D

Well its done orton is staring this week as is lloyd. Im either gunna have a huge week or give someone there first win of the season.

Thanks bear defense. All you have to do was let rogers get his projected and i would be 3 and 0 but nope he goes off for 44 points.

Let the bye weeks begin:D

Hawkes, i didnt beat you by much. If Driver had a few more catches, it might have been the other way around.

I actually like this league better than the other two leagues I am in due to the smaller rosters....

Other league I am in is total points....had no clue how that worked and will not join next year....the fun is in the matchups not some time trial event....

Match golf is always more exciting than 18 or 36 holes..

The 3rd league I am in is a bigger roster so there is no creativity to using the waiver wires....cause there is very little talent available....

I totally thought Rogers & Company would tear it up last night...and get Mock Auntie a win. The potential was definitely there, but the Packers completely imploded.

Agree 100%
When you draft huge teams, there's not much to do after the draft. People just sit on players.

When you have a smaller roster, you have to make tough decisions for Bye weeks. There's decent players available, but you have to give up decent players to get them.

Then there's the mad scramble to pick up players. I went with the 2-day waiver period to give everyone a chance to get dropped players. Otherwise some doosh stays up until 12:01AM on Sunday night and grabs all the good ones.

I'm liking the league so far. For next year, the only revision I can think of is to talk about more scoring opportunities for Team Defenses.

Tell me about it. :(
And my stupid phone app won't let me change my darn roster to drop/add players. I am gonna go try that now on the real computer.
Ayyyy! Now it says I have a waiver! What is that?!!!

If someone drops a player, that player goes on waivers. He clears waivers after two days, then he's available for pickup. BUT...if someone else also wants that player, he goes to the player with the highest waiver priority.

There's also a Sunday - Tuesday waiver period each week. All players go on waivers Sunday morning, and go off waivers on Wednesday.

When you pick up a player off waivers, you go to the the back of the waiver priority list.

Sort of complicated, but allows everyone a fair shot at getting a player. Otherwise, the minute someone gets dropped, the first guy online who see the drop could swipe in and pick him up. Also, if new info comes out on Sunday, like a player gets hurt, it gives everyone a fair shot at picking up his backup.

Here's more info:

Our league has a two-day waiver period.
On the league home page, with all of the scores, there's a column called Waiver. It shows where you are in line, basically. You're #1, at the head of the line.

I spend more time on F.F. than I do at work:champagne:At least F.F. is interesting;)

In my other league i'm always letting my daughter and her friend know who's playing and who isn't and who to pick up. Both are ahead of me in the rankings:bash:

Who is ShitBag and is he gonna start playing or what???

I always hire a couple of slouches so I can fire them when times get tight to scare the good folks....its sort of the same thing:)

You need a couple slouches in the league...everyone can't go to the playoffs

I just hope a few loses hasn't killed his interest in the league.
It's a long season and anything can happen. There are players available, trades you can make, to still have a decent season.

League tip:
This was posted earlier, but I wanted to repeat it:
The W/R/T position can be a Running Back, Wide Receiver or Tight End.
It doesn't have to be a TE...

Looks like a super tight game between Hawkes and Show Your TD's.

Hawkes needs to score over 40 points between Santonio Holmes and Jet's Defense.

MA might get her first win :thumbsup
