We poured 24 yards on Thursday. I procrastinated for almost a year on doing it but Now I can finally minimize the dirt getting tracked into the shop. Myself and 5 guys did it in 4.5 hours. My daughter snapped a pic of me yelling and 2 of the guys who couldn’t seem to get along. A few beers later, and all was good 😁

I'm just working on staying cool. Because you know what it's like this time of the year and Havasu!

Making progress on this thing and have to get it done soon to be able to test it in the hottest part of the year. I'm repowering this frame from a gas A15 Nissan to a 3 cylinder turbo charged diesel. I've had to install a larger radiator. Its taller, wider, and thicker. Getting the radiator to fit was the easy part. Finding room to mount the battery, hydraulic raise/lower pump, and Jack shaft for the transaxle has been tough. I literally have like a 1/2" clearance on all those. Had to buy a newer hydraulic pump because they're an inch and a half shorter than the older version and I needed that room.

Currently working on my backyard. Just finished sealing the stamped concrete. I went with the "Gloss and Seal" product sold at Home Depot. I used about 6 Gallons and spent around $400 on materials. I rolled it on with a roller. I saved myself quite a bit of money by doing it myself. It turned out pretty good.

Finally done (well waiting on a speaker mount for the one on top of the tv😜)
Got the cabinet finished looking like a built in best I could. Everything filled /leveled and painted.
Thought I’d throw in some color for effect. 👍
Just happy it’s finally done. Well until the little woman decides it needs a change. 😳🙄
Now time for some hockey.

Well I thought I was done. Fuck me.
I thought she’d be content for awhile. Now she asks. Can we change the hearth area out to a granite.

I said sure honey and I want a new boat and car. That’s when the fight started. 🤦.

Holy damn.

72 CZ 380. Could not get it to fire at the CZ World Championships in Marysville this year. It belongs to a guy I went to high school with. He’s had it since tenth grade. A bunch of us old moto guys show up to watch and pit. We graduated in 74. I converted the points and condenser ignition to electronic. I fired it up this morning.

A very dear friend of ours passed away last year while he was in the middle of restoring his 63 Nova. We bought it from his brother so we could finish restoring it for him. He was a huge Ed Big Daddy Roth fan so we are going to incorporate that into the car when it’s repainted and motors finished.

Came out great. How hard was it to do?
Not hard. Go slow. Don’t break it removing from car. Clean old foam from lid. I used wire brush on drill. I used permatex headliner adhesive because I didn’t want to breakout spray equipment. It is not forgiving AT ALL! Touch it, it’s stuck.
Don’t use 3m 77or 90, it will heat release.
I got the material at hobby lobby. DONT.
The foam is thin and shows all the irregularities. It would’ve looked much better with legit headliner.

Great tips, thank you. Take it out the passenger door?

What is it? indoor grow? I can't wrap my head around it lol
Training center. This is the lid all the interior projects will be built under. They attach their top track to the hat channel ceiling we are just starting to frame. That way the have a hard attachment top and bottom for their walls instead of just free standing them. Here’s a picture of the hat channel but still a lot of work.

2006 HD 1200 Sportster. The 17 year old daughter of some friends ( who moved to Texas) got her license and bought this. The guy that owned it took the feminine bling that the prior woman owner had on it. We went and picked it up, I rode it to my house and we put the girlie bling back on. This girl is 17 going on 25. Manages two Subways and graduated a year early with honors. Bought and paid off her own car.

I’m teaching her to ride the right way. Going to put her on a CRF 150 and do some trail and track riding.

Bilge parts on order.

Driver and passenger seats were loose so I took one out to find out that the bottom of the base is rotted. I did a temporary fix for the season and I will redo the bases this winter.

I pushed that bolt in with my hand

The temp fix, I just had to buy a little longer bolts

I changed the lower oil pan gasket on my 2015 Silverado. Laying on your back, working over your head for the better part of 5 hours, makes you think those electric ratchets might be worth the money. 🤨

My shoulders and arms are going to be hurting tomorrow. 😫

Been working on a remodel (converting den into bedroom and separate office) with my nephew in Rolling Hills Estates the past week or two. Finished all the electrical/framing and waiting on inspection to hang drywall. Amazing view from their front window all the way to Malibu and greater LA basin. Kinda poor pic due to the marine layer.

Tomorrow off the Mark Ganahl's house ( President of Ganahl Lumber) in Fullerton for a bathroom remodel.

Gopher issues.
For decades I used to trap them and our cat slaughtered them by the dozens. Piles of dead gophers.

Not working anymore. None of the online hacks and tricks work anymore either.

Hired a really good Gopher service.
Was $100 quarterly no limits. Then $200 quarterly, now $200 quarterly for up to 6 off'd.

Rats too. Different kinds different sizes. Some HUGE.

Cat gets them and the traps work good too. Marshmallows the best bait.

Some of the bigger rats fight the cat and the cat will not back down. Fearless.
Corner of the guest bathroom is the slaughter spot, wall marred from battle scars. Cat has more holes in him than a horse traders mule.

Project house. Got the Chimney removed. Spent the day roofing it yesterday. All new radiant barrier sheeting. Got off the roof at 645. Feeling it today. But need to install can lights and outlet boxes. So my guys can run wire for me.

Have a ground up build moving along.

A big addition job that we gutted the existing house to the studs and joists.

A full bathroom remodel that we reconfigured.

Pulling permits Tuesday for another ground up build.

Have a kitchen remodel ready to start.

To many bathrooms to think of that are waiting.

Eliminating. It had 2 big cracks I couldn't figure out a good fix for. To coat the inside of the flue which was cracked. Fireplace guy wanted 4k.

My addition job they want to keep existing that is cracked. And I have not figured out a good fix yet. Maybe stainless bands and stucco it.

In CA you can only burn wood on certain days so I figured it would never get used. Unless risking a fine. Didn't plan on it. But no turning back now. It also made the side parking bigger.

I will text you some pics at end of the week.
