I was just messing around at work. An apprentice kept giving me some real Robbie welds and said it was his machine. Quick vertical down and a quick over head to make sure it wasn’t the machine. He said I was just showing off

Try to find some tube, and practice going around, where to stop and start. Helps with keeping it looking all uniform and pretty.

Rod went through the block in our Radical last year @ 10000 RPM. Finally found a new engine [ 1300R Hayabusa ] for it and ready to do the swap. we want to take the F1000 B&W car, the Van Diemen and Crossle F1600 cars to the new racetrack east of Calgary this summer.> https://badlandsmotorsportsresort.com/

Motul V 15 50 8 gal in the dry sump was over $200 bucks. As bad as VP 12 fuel. for our G0-Karts Covid induced prices since last year.

posted this in the current situation thread. Having too many toys supplies never ending scenarios.

Working on the Crossle FF1600. What a PIA to remove the Hewland gearbox from the chassies because of bellhouse interference in the frame. Picture shows, the bottom part of the bellhousing was already ground down thin to clear the bottom cross member. Dumped gear oil on the track, input shaft seal gone. The seal is only $ 11 dollars, but ground shipping by Fedex is $32 . Better try finding the seal locally.

I needed a trailer for my dirt bike but really built it to haul my concrete saws around and be able to phase out my service truck which has a liftgate. I'm tight on space and cheap. @gottaminute? has some narrow trailer axles for sale and figure I'll build my own trailer. Went to his place and he sold me a trailer frame minus wheels that was meant for a light tower. Really helped me get ahead. I moved the axle back and built the rest. Setup with water tanks, deep cycle battery, winch, and lights in the future. The outside dimensions of the deck are 5X7. Wheels are 14" that came off a boat trailer. I really like the Aluminum bullet hole wheels. They match my trucks wheels.

Another reason I built the trailer so I can get a bigger saw. Meco 35s are badass. Know anyone selling one? Would love to have one again. Tongue weight should be okay. Saw sits over the axle.

Sometimes. When cutting asphalt if it's a no traffic area I sweep the slurry to the demo side. If there is traffic I'll vacuum. Same with concrete. I always vacuum when cutting indoors. The Grabber Vacuums are badass. I know the California pain and dealt with swppp. I escaped from there December 2018.

We can sweep onto the demo side as long as we are tearing it that day (at least the low side) and it doesn't run into the storm drain, they don't get us the best vacuums

I was just gonna pm you about the 42WC saws as I'm looking at one and you answered my question about the parts. I'll keep looking for a 37WC. I've been to Kennedy a few times, I'll check with him. On the full vacuum I plan to use the winch to pull it up the ramp and then when I dump I'll swing the curb side gate open and tip it over.

Called a neighbor for nitrogen and he offered his garage and lift. So awesome! I had planned to install on my side yard under an EZ-Up.

I had been chasing a front end noise for months. Finally found a way to tighten a nut I was long suspicious of. The nut to the uniball pin and and the spindle. There is not much room to work there. Anyway, I got some good torque on it a few times. Finally gone. I also took the time to swap all the end link bushings. I know that wasn't my source as I did that first ans test drove it. Still did it. I can finally relax.

Well until I do the diff oil next weekend. Lol

After the red Crossle F40 tranny service was done, I've decided to change the colour for the Van Diemen RF85's copper colour to silver&blue . Blue is my favorite colour anyway.

The last buggy frame I did I went around the tube getting a good root pass then laid several surface passes around each joint and came back with a flapper disc, and blended everything . Looked awesome but the amount of time spent doing it was so not worth it. Next time I'm just going to do a nice TIG weld and call it good.
