Damn they really changed the rules on these. It used to be if you drank 15 it was worth it. Not a limit of 15. Used to be able to get one drink package per room. Wife drinks like 2 drinks if that. So I would usually just grab one or 2. I did hear some time ago they did require both occupants to obtain one. Not sure it would pencil out for me anymore.

My last trip was before Covid and I took 8 pre made bottles and a 12 pack of beer with me in my suitcase and when you pull up to unload you luggage with the attendee you tell them that you have alcohol in your bag and you my sure you tip him and it will go right through. My buddy told me he does all the time and when I got up to our room sure enough it was there. Than I tipped my room guy to make sure I had my ice bucket filled twice a day.

Im bummed! If it was just a regular game we would have skipped it, but its a tourament and we're apparently 120% committed

We never missed any of my kid’s tournaments. We always worked around them. Always enjoyed being there

It's almost time!!!

So RDP is hosting an open bar gathering for everyone attending on Sunday at the Piano Bar from 6:30-7:30 pm. We are planning to do specialty dining at the steakhouse at 8pm. I'm booking that today for Dave, my Dad, Nord and myself. We would love anyone else to join us this date.

For Friday sailing day I think we should all wear RDP shirts or hats and meet at the Lido deck somewhere. Here is a map. Lets pick a place to meet on arrival. Maybe we can do a group photo once everyone arrives. I saw someone suggest the main lobby area. I'm fine with whatever...lets just pick a location!

Is anyone planning on doing any excursions at our 2 stops? I am thinking we plan a meeting time to get off ship together and go from there.

I'll have a list of room #'s for everyone as well.

We are starting to look into the events off ship. The wife and I have never been to Catalina. Would like to rent a golf cart. Also the wife has not been to Ensenada since her childhood. It has been 10 years for me. Thinking that we will just play tourist in the town. There is this taco place that I went while there. It is a bit of a walk outside of the tourist area. But I’d be up for a walk there if others are interested. OR even another place is there is one closer. Figure I want as much Mexican food while there.

FYI I’m not sure if everyone saw but there’s a neon party and a white party on this Cruise. A few of us banded together on wearing black on white night lol. And we are planning to participate in the neon 80’s theme.

We board at 12 and we are staying at Nords Wednesday night so we won’t be late.
