Thanks fishing fool hopefully we get a set time because I got a group that wants to do this

Like you said it is some time out. But this is my plan. I will be at Windsor around that time waiting.

Pretty sure this is the same weekend as the "Fast Eddie's V-drive regatta" in Parker as well.
Welldigger00 and I are supposed to be out there for it. Maybe we can launch the boats twice.... :D

Plater Dave, Brad, Chris and whoever else will be boat pooling instead of taking one boat each, and our boatpool theme song will be.

I'm just looking to party with a few of my buddies, I know Chris would have more fun partying on Brads Toon with a cooler full of beer and a super chill crew than driving one of his boats. You take your Schiada and start the caravan. :thumbsup I'll be sponsoring Sigus all night :drink :D relaxing.

I will hold the light!

I know this is a long ways off but where is everyone launching from and where are we meeting before the drive up
I'm thinking I'm already gonna be up at pirates all day so I'm just gonna put over in the afternoon or evening.

I'm thinking sometime around 4:00pm from Windsor meet up and drive up around 5:00pm. I could be off by a hour or two but this is what I am thinking.

I was gonna leave Havasu at like 6:00 but yeah basically.. when the sun starts to set and it isn't so hot out.

If someone wants to drive a toon, I'll give them some RDP SWAG for sure.. :D We are going to need a boat with a loud stereo for the sandbars at night, but I think I got one coming. :D

Sweet. My 4 - 6" JVC speakers and Pioneer head unit won't even wake a sleeping child. I need a trip to Speed of Sound. :D . The flip side is it is rated for 17 passengers and has a shitter. :thumbsup

Buy a new head unit, speakers and a amp and we can get it done. If you need help on what to get go to a local shop and talk to them if not I could help

It was 17.7 mph gps but with the wrong prop. I should see mid 20's propped right. :thumbsup And yes, I will need a head start. :D

I was embarrassed to asked but I was glad someone did hahaha. I'll probably have to roll out with the noon group also

No worries Waffles...TD is my lil bro. Its my job as his big bro to kick him in the nuts once in awhile. I have a Laughlin/Havasu/Parker Boyz trip set up for this weekend. The RDP Nite Run may tweak the plans now. I just pulled up RD's Moon chart and saw Northern winds for 8/5 so the pontoon may be moving upriver quicker than we think?:D

You boat drivers might want to get some clear safety glasses for the bugs at night.

Trying to talk the wife into this one. I have her convinced for the Monster Storm/RDP regatta but I'm thinking this one is going to top that.

i mean are we floating home on the boats....or are we driving them under power.....floating home would be kind of awesome....and i hate driving at night

I think some people will drive and some will float. I've driven my boat at night in that area when it was NOT a full moon and some parts you see clearly and some parts were sketchy so I slowed down until I passed those parts.

I think we are going to have to bail on this. I was really looking forward to it but the kids have an event that weekend now.

You are better off just using the moon. The spot light will cause more of an issue than navigating just using the moonlight.

I have used it before and it works really good you just dont shine it directly at the water, I would also like to not hit a floating stump

why not float back and get even more blasted....lets say we tie a few boats together only one uses power to steer from rocks...does that mean we only need one designated driver?

I'm sure that's not legal, and I think if we floated back it would be morning by the time we made it back. I would plan on a designated driver.
I believe the plan was to cruise at plane speed on the way back which is about 15-25 mph depending on the boat. And make a few stops on the way back.
