Smelled some funk this morning, didnt investigate. Trying to get poop in a group to leave in the moho for a vacation and just chalked it up to dog pee on the fake grass. Went to my container to grab a charger for my cordless drill and immediately hit with a wall of death smell. Two dead racoons rotting away. Fan fuckintastic.

Dump is closed. What the hell do i do with these things? I am supposed to be leaving for vacation in the AM. I dont think letting them cook in the rubbish bin out in front of the house waiting for pickup in 4 days is wise.

Go dump them out in the hills? Is there a public service that will pick them up and dispose of them? These things are bloated and maggoty.

Im blown away the dogs didnt alert me to something going on. They had to know days ago something wasnt right in there.

animal control will pick them up, or Double bag them in heavy black trash bags, and trash can out front.

What killed them, they look intact?

Push all the air out of the bags they will swell. So I'm told 🤣

First off🤮 I feel for you!

Snow type shovel, and heavy duty double bagged. You don't want to grab with gloves, go for the spatula method. Now disposal...legally...no clue. Sideways and a bit left handed? Go for the nearest construction site with a dumpster and no cameras. Been done to me before. When I became a homeowner, and had a skunk drown in bucket...while I was out of town...yep, I understood🤣

It appears there was a struggle inside. One of them didnt have a face……may have been some cannibalism going on. I dont understand how they got in there, doors have been closed since last Sunday.

If they smell, that would make sense, It takes awhile. Could have been there a week.

Bag them up.

Flathead shoveled them into the rubbish bin. Off to go buy some bleach. My only problem with leaving them in the bin is the smell and attraction of other animals. Tried animal control number for the city and got the please call us back during normal business hours message. Thinking dumping them in the hills is the answer.

Cant burry them. Dogs would probably dig them up and roll around on the carcass….

That's where the double trash bags come in, push all the air out, and by trash day they will be gone. and your going to be gone, that would have been the answer.

Tape or tie the bag shut

Go by some lye, toss them in the trash and cover them with the lye. About 10# should do it

Don’t overthink this. Just bag them and dump them in the trash bin. I’ve been doing it for years.

The only real issue is when the trash man decides he needs to rev the fuck out of the hydraulic system and compress the load right in front of my house as he dumps my trash after I have a body in there lol

Copy. Thanks. Will bag them and move on with life. Hopefully no compaction action when they pick up.

Toss them out where there are coyotes.
circle of life and all that shit
God damn, id rather starve to death that put any part of these things in my mouth.

Makes me think about how easy we have made life for domesticated dogs. Bastards dont know how good they have it!

Thanks for all suggestions. Triple bagged and waiting for trash day.

Fire pit in the back yard or in a 55 gallon drum and a few cold brews

Double Trash bag and dump it in an industrial dumpster - don’t get caught !

Time to buy a back hoe ….

The worst part is bagging them, from here on out its cake, been doing it for years, Possums, Skunks, Raccoons. the worst was a coyote, ever tried to bag up a 50 lb dog??? #Facepalm

Double or triple trash bag and find a drop off for Goodwill and set them outside the bin. Then it won’t look like you’re dropping off trash anyplace else. Trash bins at grocery stores used to be my go-to, but everyone has security cameras now.

Did this with a rattler I had to bash sans the double bag. Put it in the green waste but forgot to put it out that week. The stench....don't forget the bags....

No statue of limitations so I'll keep it vague, picked up a 1,000lb. carcass with the crane on our fishing boat, the cinch strap looked like it was going to come off so I set it on the side rail of the boat to get a better bite, when I lowered the winch and the weight started to rest on the rail the largest burp you ever heard came out of that thing.🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

The burp happens all the time in the morgue/mortuary. People get bloated after they’re dead and you’ll hear them burp.

I imagine it’s a freaky experience the first time the intern hears it lol

Husband & wife couple taking a romantic Sunday stroll ended up getting trapped as they napped in a cool spot. She panicked and wouldn't shut up.....with nowhere to hide from her he ate her face.😲 Stuck in a tin box during 110° weather he only lasted a day.

Had a mountain lion kill and stash a deer in our back yard. I called the division of wildlife. They came and hauled it off. View attachment 1421618 View attachment 1421619
That mountain lion is not going to be happy. ;)

It was suspected that it was a momma and 3 cubs. They left 3 kills in a week between 5, 2 acre lots on our road.

My gators will only eat chickens or human extremities if one gets too close. One of them bit my buddies Chubbs hand off. They’re spoiled like the dogs.

Same thing happened to my old buddy Roy Munson (the losing the hand part, but fortunately not by gator, tragic nonetheless...). Prayers for Chubbs, hoping for a speedy recovery.

Yes. One of many “someday” project parts.
When you get a chance I'd be curious to hear the plan. I might have a small stockpile of said parts🤣
