I think you explained it before, but why the holes on the center pod? Where do they lead inside the boat?
Hey, RK, hope all is well.
Those holes are drilled into the PVC cross tube you can see in the top picture a few posts back. It is to vent the notch made by cutting the center pod, and is meant to break the water free from the front wall of that notch to help the boat plane faster. Otherwise the water will cling to that area and not want to break free, causes vacuum and holding the back of the boat to the water until it can break free itself. Hopefully this explanation makes sense to you, it's obviously easier to explain in person.
