The wife and I will be in havasu from friday - monday. Hopeing for good weather this weekend. Last 2 trips have been stormy!

Scratch that, my weather report just updated. Saturday looks sketchy. This is supposed to only go on through tomorrow, Saturday should be good.
Wish we would get that in So Cal
And that's a bad thing? HahaLooks like I'm spending the day on the beach watching the clouds and drinking

Take the boat out and stay in or close to the channel. We've been through several storms and when it gets crazy we just hang out in the channel and wait for the storm to go through.
Be careful though, your boat might get wet [emoji3]
Desert Center was getting rocked about 10 mins ago for anyone heading out that way today.
What about hanging in the gorge for cover or pirates cove? I'm launching out of jack smiths that's why
I hit a flash flood on peerblossom hwy today and again on the 40. The truck and boat are fucked. [emoji107]🏻

Not looking forward to towing out tonight.
Always a hard decision to run the boat uncovered and get trashed, or to tow with the cover on and have to worry about the cover rubbing the crap out of the gel. Who has experience towing with one of these covers?

I don't think I would tow w that [emoji51] looks like in staying home for the weekend [emoji17]
I wouldn't tow 4hrs with that cover on. That's a lot of pressure on those straps. Worse case scenario is you will have to wash the boat tomorrow morning, if you hit rain on the 15/40, but you don't want that cover rubbing your gel on that long of a haul bud. Drive careful. My weather apps all show the deserts being overcast by 3-4pm, so monsoons are definitely a possibility through Saturday.
Same here!! Looks like I'll be working on my truck this weekendWell...looks like I'll sit this weekend out and wait till next! Not worth the $$ for me to drive out and have shitty weather. I could probably sit and drink all day but I can do that at home in the pool with better weather. I hope for the ones that do go and are out there the Weather makes a change for the better for you guys.
Guess Islander got hit pretty good again..[emoji107]

If it's not a tow cover I wouldn't do it.
