Yesterday on the Lower River, the clouds started rolling in around 6:30pm, and it looked like it was going to storm pretty good. We headed home from the bar about 8, expecting to get drenched. Not one drop. We sat on the patio watching an awesome lightening show to the southeast, but it never rained here.... It's looking great outside right now....

Was cloudy and raining Wednesday, cleared up in the afternoon..........still good times.

It's a "tow cover" but doesn't have the full inner liner. Just a few felt pieces on the hard corners and high points. I'll skip on covering it..

You can do it, but I would go get a ton of blue masking tape and lay down multiple rows where the cover hits the gel (all around boat), then take the cover down as well. After the work that goes into that, it is just easier to tow uncovered and clean it in Havasu

Ya I have a tow cover that is still a pia. But the best thing I ever did was put a cockpit cover on the boat.

Looks like the Thunderstorm chance in Havasu on Saturday is 40%, but it looks like there really isn't any chance of activity until 4pm.

I'm done making that tow. I'll either buy a custom tow cover which i really don't want to do for one tow home a year. Or I'll pay to have it wrapped. I forgot to get a quote for that though. I have a little knick in the gel after towing back to bhc last time. Needles to say I was pissed and although no one else has seen it it drives me crazy every time I see it

Yup... My wife and I already decided we will be getting storage FOR SURE next year. I'm over it too. Take it out at the beginning of the season, and bring it home at the end. Better for the boat, trailer, and the truck.

We rode it out in Steamboat yesterday, windy as hell, but the majority of rain and lightening crossed the river about a quarter mile North of SB..:yikes

You were here? We weren't on the water Wednesday. Made our weekly trek into town to pick up a bunch of crap.

Fucking A, that first pic is mine! Just sold that awning and the guy is getting it tomorrow! Son of a bitch! I am so fucking glad I'm moving to a house. Moving the 5er out of there tomorrow in fact. Fucking spot is tornado alley, 3rd fucking time it's wrecked my awning!

Man that sucks, yea my buddy Chris, the trailer on the left of the pic, has had his jacked up a couple times now as well.

Yep, he was my neighbor last year and his frame got wadded up pretty bad on the 4th. Happened again this year, but not as bad, a couple of weeks ago. I swear those 2 spots are right smack in the middle of a tornado zone!

Glad to be done with that after this weekend!

I keep refreshing my weather app thinking it's going to change from cloudy to sunny with no chance of rain for tomorrow. Oh well, if a storm comes in ill just get the boat off the water and into the garage and get drunk at the house .. I guess [emoji17]

I had the same type of cover for my old Ultra. Towed with it once and it started to rain. it jacked up the gel on the corners of the boat. I would only tow with a cover with a full soft liner and not in the rain.

Getting a 26 foot Toon back into Clearlake is a little harder then a Mach22 or Jetski. Trimmed some bushes in a few spots. The family was freaking out. LoL.

Okay, I gotta ask... Where is this?
This is the lower river. Areas include Martinez Lake, Fisher's Landing, Hidden Shores etc. There is an entrance to Clear Lake off the river close to the Imperial Dam. There is another entrance to it from Squaw Lake. It's a great place to go and chill.....
