Just pick up this 24' XS on Friday went out on the River Saturday and had a blast! It has a BBC 454 405HP Turbo 400 trans champion v drive (I think) it has the turning fin and the prop stand off is about 15" from the rutter has newer interior and carpet 177 hours on the hour meter the trailer has new wheels and tires.
I'm pretty stoked to get this boat and looking forward to lots of fun with family and friends this summer

Here is the long story short. This is my '77 Spectra 18. My parents bought this boat in 1980 when I was 1 year old. It was our family boat growing up and pretty much every family vacation involved camping and the boat. When I was in college my dad hurt his back and had to sell the boat in 2001. I was unable to afford it, much less store it, so I sadly watched it leave. I always missed the boat I hoped someday I would find it again. 13 years later I stumbled upon an ad on craigslist for a '77 Spectra with the same trim package we had. I sent my dad to go check it out since he was much closer. He called me and said he couldn't believe it's the same exact boat! I bought it back and now it's great for my family to enjoy as our family boat! I could never picture myself owning a different boat.
