Not sure on the truck but I would go 18”. I know on the trx you can’t go smaller because of the brakes.
Have you ever towed 20k+ lbs at 40psi?Why in the world are you running 65psi in the tires? Are you loaded down? Most tires around that size have a load capacity of 2000+ lbs each at 35 psi. Go up to 40 and it typically goes up an additional 200 lbs.
I'd suggest looking up your load rating table for your tires and adjust cold PSI accordingly. You'll get more life and a better ride.
Op : if your truck rides life a forklift the tire change is going to be minimal improvement. Like road reflectors won’t go bang bang bang, instead it will be a light thump thump thump

My truck is an 02 leaf sprung front axle truck. I have an 07 f250 radius arm axle in my garage along with about 90% of the parts to complete the swap. I have a set of pure performance triple rate coils in that bundle of parts, I'm really looking forward to the ride quality once this is comple. I think all that I have left to sort out is how to steer an 07 axle with 02 steering.
I need tires now though hence this thread.
Coginto Motorsports is pretty good. GM suspension is going to be difficult to match the options that the ford/ram trucks have with the front axel.Man I just checked Carli and no love for GM. They should be at 65f 80r on 3/4 and 1 tons
A 1 ton weighs just shy of 10k lbs dry. 60-65 psi and tires last 50-60k miles.
If you want to drive in the lane next to me while I run at 40psi towing, I’m down but odds are I’m gonna crush what ever your in

I think they’re both at the top of the Gucci shock heap, but others may differ.
