That's not entirely true. If you mean win by getting an obstruction indictment based off of something that has nothing at all to do with what they are investigating (think forget a date of a conversation from 4 years ago) then I would agree with you for the most part. I've had partners that have beat them in court because the feds like to pull bullshit indictments all the time to justify their existence. Any mistake to them is considered lying. Big difference is they have their own set of rules and charge felonies for things Local PD's wouldn't even bother with. If that doesn't make you go... Hmmmmmmmm... then I don't know what does.

Double edged sword with those guys.

The problem with the charge of Sex Trafficing is if they can't prove it, he'll walk. And there's a million reasons, including technicalities, why that could/will happen. He'll spend a few years fighting this & maybe incarcerated a bit, but money, gets these people out of shit. Even if he's convicted & goes to prison, just like Cosby, they'll find a way to get him out.
