I don’t know if any outboard mechanics in Parker but in lake Havasu there are several.

Not a bad run back to havi this afternoon. Better than Thurs and Friday. The wind started laying down early this afternoon.

Despite the wind, what a trip.

Wednesday Islander to the springs for dinner.

Thursday, islander to topock for breakfast. Then up to up past needles. As we floated down north of needles bridge, who buzzed us from the sky? Bullhead Bully and War Canoe! They buzzed the tower twice. ... Then anchored off in a cove in the gorge. The afternoon ride through the mouth of the river back to the islander, yikes!!

Friday morning met up with Bully, SJP, and King of Bears for an AM romp up to Davis dam. Then back to the springs for brunch. KILLER RIDE to Davis and back....then the incredible BBQ at Bully's house!!!

Then today. A bit rough up to pirates but not bad coming back. Great group of OB Church people..

Figure we ran out boat 230-240 miles in just a few days. Boating.....

Well... long story short I got it to finally idol and actually putted it in the no wake zone but it would not rpm at all. It needs some adjustments at the least.

What's it doing this time?

It could be a spark box. Idling but not planning or running under load is a common symptom of that because it will drop 3 cylinders when a load is applied.

The Church made the best of a windy day...
We ran to the Springs early on nice water...then to Steamboat for drone pics and then we went straight to Pirate Cove for a great brunch with 25-30 boats...

Big thanks to Austin from RDP...He is a great photographer!! River Dave was instrumental in helping us get this meet up of Outboards together for the first time.

Pirate Cove staff and crew kicked ass for us...they really did a great job. Tim and bob made sure the place was ready to party!! Erica, our waitress , was so nice and attentive, it was great.

The best part was meeting our members face to face after knowing each other on the boards of RDP .... we have some cool members!!

We will do this “Outlaw” Meet up again !!

We are leaving for Powell before first light to cap off this wonderful weekend!! Running the DW 32’ tomorrow at Powell...The Church is going to lay down some serious miles in the most spiritual lake in the world. if you’ve never been to Powell, you have to get there.

I already changed one prior to going. I am going to change the other one today and see what happens.

Because of the informality of the “meet up” and weather conditions... there wasn’t much racing going on. For any boat to survive the trip up, was an accomplishment.
