Saw him yesterday and he gave me the thumbs up

Stopped by Roc's Firehouse for a late lunch on the way home from Havasu and saw this great tribute at the bar by a classy bar owner. A folded flag on an empty dinner plate with a full glass of beer and full shot next to it.

Stopped by today for lunch as well. I think it was RiverPirate leaving as I went in. Recognized his truck. One of the Servers recognized VeeDriven from the weekend. She was at Echo for the weekend. Food hit the spot and great service!

That's a beauty. How far did you have to go?

I got him around the 425 which is about 30 miles south of San Diego harbor. We saw hundreds tuna over the weekend. They were feeding on micro bait at the surface but as soon as we would get close enough to cast they would sink out. We finally found a group that stayed up long enough for us to get a couple casts into. Had a great time!
