Beautiful area. That was our first time boating down there, launched out of homestead and cruised down, so calm and scenic. I probably won't do the Miami thing anymore after going there.

I recognized this boat, looked and sounded good. Not sure who the owner is.

Used to be mine.
Sold it a couple weeks a go to a guy named Cody.
Saw him yesterday and he gave me the thumbs up
Hope he has as much fun as I did with this boat

So Nac is boatable now? Other than the holiday crowds and giant wakes, how is the lake? Can you launch at heritage? Last time is checked the lake level was 28%, but now showing 33% with no rain in between?

Has been. In 2014 the Heritage ramp was closed all summer due to low water. Last year it was open all through July. We should be able to laumch at Heritage longer this year cause we had a bit more water at the beginning of the summer than last. The main ramp has never closed. The 5 mph zones in Las Tablas and The Narrows are both moved out ridiculously far so that kinda sucks but other than the large holiday crowd and the 5 mph zones, it's great.

Memorial was pretty cool in hawaii, lots of cool stuff to remember those who gave it all.

Missed the lower river, which we usually enjoy this weekend. My kids are at the age where they understand what's going on there, but too young IMO to see some of the shit we saw last year.
Instead helped boy scouts line the streets with glory.

It's not the river but we had a great baseball weekend. My son's Memorial Day Allstar team made the final game but took the runner up position. I had a great time coaching the kids. They showed a tremendous amount of heart and character. The best part is that no one thought we would make it past the first round. They tore the cover off the ball in all of the games, played solid "D" and kept each others spirits high throughout the tournament. As a coach, you can't ask for more. Solid weekend. :thumbsup

Stopped by Roc's Firehouse for a late lunch on the way home from Havasu and saw this great tribute at the bar by a classy bar owner. A folded flag on an empty dinner plate with a full glass of beer and full shot next to it.
