Careful what you wish for. Without electoral college Al Gore would have been pres. I don't like electoral either, I do understand its intended purpose, just don't agree with it any longer, but pendulum swings both ways at times. If you have a health plan and your group is on it, nothing would change. But with that said you will most likely see rates continue to go up. The insurance companies are being forced to take on more risk, children up to age 26, people with pre existing conditions, no cap limits. So eventually rates go up on us all. The numbers people will argue this because Obamacare is suppose to force young heathly people to join, thus offsetting costs. I don't we that happening myself. You could choose to dump your employees and not have to pay a dime . Your under 50 employees and I don't believe there is any penalty .

In regard to taxes, whew.. lots is a changing fast. If you have wealth you want to transfer to future generations you best be talking to a lawyer now. Lots of blind trusts being set up this quarter. Inheritance tax is going from 5 million to 1 million at year end. Others can speak specifics. As a business owner this may be your last year to pull out cheap dividends. Vs. Earned income.

Income taxes will be going up for sure if you make decent money, and no doubt they will try to raise the cap on the social security income limit. No way does social security stay solvent with vast amounts of people jumping onto disability and taking early retirement.
